"Wow, that was quick."

When we all got to Luke's, we are a snack to last us until dinner. We were all sitting in Luke's backyard.

"Hey we should go swimming." I suggested since all we were doing was sitting in Luke's backyard talking about random shit. I mean we might as well since Luke has a pool.

They all agreed plus it was pretty warm for August.

"I don't have my swimming trunks with me." Ashton spoke.
"That's ok. I have to run home and get my swimsuit anyways." I said offering Ashton a ride.

Ashton just simply replied with an "ok".

I got up walking through the gate and to my car while Ashton followed. I started the car and drove off. Our neighborhood was only a 5 minute drive from Luke's.

I pulled up to the curb and parked, grabbing my book bag to take it inside. I left my laptop for if I wanted to work on the history project later on.

"Meet me at my car in 5 minutes." I told Ashton knowing it wouldn't take that long for me to change.

I changed into my American flag bikini and some sandals, putting a white lace swimsuit cover over it.
I threw some stuff I would need, into my bag because I always ended up passing out at Luke's or any of the boys' house.

I quickly sent a text to my mom to let her know that I was going over to Luke's tonight.

I decided I should also remind Ashton that he would need something to sleep in.

Ashton 🍕: thanks for reminding me Cai

😏 Cai 😏: no problem.

We met at my car, getting in it and driving off.
'The forgotten' by green day was playing off of my I-pod as I drove down our neighborhood. It wasn't playing too loud but not too quiet.

Ashton and I both sang along to the the song.

"Where in the world's the forgotten?
They're lost inside your memory
You're dragging on, your heart's been broken
As we all go down in history." we both sang and Ashton looked at me very surprised as if he saw someone come back to life.

"What's wrong?" I asked glancing over at him before returning my focus back to the road.

"You can sing?" He asked confused.

"Yeah, I guess." I said awkwardly. I don't like to sing for people, I just like to listen to music and sing along.

"Well your voice is beautiful." he said giving me a cheeky grin.

"Thank you." I said pulling up to Luke's house.

"My birthday is next monday." I said randomly as we stepped out of my car, grabbing my stuff. I locked my car then walking through the same gate to get to the backyard, setting my stuff down on the lawn chair that I was sitting in earlier.

And now for the awkward striping scene.

I don't mind wearing a bikini in front of my guy squad but Ashton I do because he's really adorable and if I show him what my body looks like, I doubt he will ever talk to me again.

But yanno ..... YOLO

I took my swimsuit cover off and then my sandals, walking up the steps to the pool.

Ashton took his shirt and his flip flops off, following me up the stairs.

We both looked at each other and then at the pool. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into the pool with him.
