I awoke, dazed. My head was throbbing and I couldn't for the life of me remember what had happened. I tried to open my eyes, but the brightness destroyed all hopes of being able to see my surroundings. This couldn't be happening. Not now, not ever. I heard foot steps, so I slitted open my eyes, battling against the cruel light. A dark figure came into view, all blurred from my skewed eyesight.
"Hello, Vanessa, or should I say Key. It's good to see you're finally awake. Now, let's get down to business."
