Sirius woke up to the hotel room's window tapping. Sitting up in bed, he looked towards the window and spotted a black owl. He quickly stood and went to the window, opening it to let the owl in.

The owl flew through the window and landed on the arm of the couch, holding out its leg so Sirius could take the letter attached to it.

Sirius carefully took off the letter before patting the bird on the head and opening it.

'Sirius

I will be home today at 11 am and will stay till tomorrow night. You may come at any time between them. I made this into a portkey so you can just use it to come here instead of floo'ing. Just say, Snakes,'

It read, and Sirius sighed in relief. He had been expected to be turned down. After all, everyone thought he had killed the Potters. Casting a tempus, he saw that it was 11:15.

Going over to Harry's bed, he gently shook him away, smiling when sleepy Grey Eye looked up at him. "Morning, cub," he smiled.

"Morning, Dad," Harry groaned, and Sirius smiled and grew wider.

"How did you sleep?" The older man asked as Harry sat up and rubbed the sleep away from his eyes.

"Peaceful, for once," Harry said, mumbling the last part.

"That's wonderful," Sirius said, ruffling his hair. "My friend replied. He said we could meet him at his house today. So get dressed, and we'll get something to eat downstairs before we head out," Sirius said, and Harry nodded before making his way into the bathroom. A few seconds later, the shower was heard.

After they were both cleaning and ready, Sirius led him downstairs and checked out. They had breakfast before they used the port key.

They appeared in the living room. Sirius took a moment to look around, taking the green and silver decor. Footsteps were heard, and a man came through the doorway.

"Sirius," he exclaimed, coming over to hug him.

"Hey, Severus," Sirius said, returning the hug. Severus pulled away and turned to Harry, hugging him as well.

"It's good to see you as yourself," He said, making Harry frown; Severus was his dad's friend.

Severus led them to the couch and sat on an armchair next to the fireplace.

"I'm glad my plan worked to get you out, Sirius," Severus said, and the shaggy-haired man looked at him confused.

"What plan?" Sirius asked curiously.

"I knew you didn't do it; I looked for a year and was getting close to proving it. You were innocent. But after that, every time I thought about it, I felt compelled to do something else. And over time, I forgot about it. I am sorry I took so long, my friend and Harry; I am truly sorry. I never meant to hurt you," Severus said, and Harry gave him a tight smile.

"What plan did you have?" Sirius asked, and Severus leaned back on the chair, running a hand through his hair.

"Earlier this year, I went to a seminar for potion masters that is held every five years. I normally skip it, but this year, they made me the guest of honor. We were supposed to test the potions the others make and in order to do that. They had to check us to see if we had any potions or spells that would affect what we were testing. When they did, we found I was under a compulsion spell to be mean to Harry and a few more that made me occasionally forget to do something that the caster wants me to," Severus said, and Sirius looked at him in sympathy.

"It was Albus, wasn't it?" Sirius asked, and Severus nodded.

"That old coot has been meddling in things that do not concern him, and he should keep away from them," Severus said, and Sir us scoffed.

"He really did all of that?" Harry finally asked, his voice strained as he spoke.

"Yeah, and he has done a lot more things that no one is aware of," Severus said, and Harry looked down with a thoughtful look on his face.

"So, how did you get me out?" Sirius asked.

"I found Peter. After I got the spells and potions off, I remembered and found him. He was that rat that the Weasley boy had. I used some of my ways to make him confess to the Aurors and get you freed," Severus said, and Sirius smiled widely with tears in his eyes.

He went over to the potion master and hugged him. "Thank you," he whispered, pulling away.

"You're welcome," Severus said as Sirius went back to sit beside Harry.

"Now, we just have to find Remus," Sirius said, and Harry looked up.

"Remus Lupin, he's my father?" Harry asked, and Sirius frowned at him.

"Yes, I thought you read the papers I gave you at Gringotts," Sirius said, and Harry blushed.

"I did, but it was so much to take in; it's all just taking time to register," Harry replied, and Sirius smiled understandingly.

"Sirius," Severus said, drawing the other man's attention back to him. "It's going to be a little hard to get Remus," he said, and Severus frowned.

"What? Why? Did something happen to him?" Sirius asked desperately.

"He is fine," Severus said, passing as I'd calculated his words. "He has forgotten a lot of things that happened after Hogwarts graduation,"
