Sirius woke up and looked over at the man sleeping next to him. His eyes roamed the other's face, from the scar he got in high school to a few smaller ones he didn't know where they came from. He woke up earlier than his mate today for one reason. Their anniversary. He slowly climbed out of the bed and exited the room. He went down the hall and to his office. It was the best place to hide the things he got for their anniversary because Remus never came in here.

In the room were blue violets, red roses, yellow pansies, daisies, and one lupine in a glass case in a vase, charmed to provide the necessary needs for the flower. With a wave of his wand the flowers started to float after him, he went back to his room and peeked in to make sure the other man was sleeping before entering and placing the flowers around the room. The lupine he places on a conjured-up table by the window so that it would get sunlight.

When he was satisfied, he moved back to the bed and gently shook the other man's shoulder. Remus groaned and snuggled further into the bed. "Come on, Remus. Wake up," Sirius whined, and Remus huffed before opening his eyes and looking up at the man hovering over him. He sniffed before sitting up straight and looking around the room.

His eyes widened as he took in the sight before him. "Happy anniversary," Sirius said softly as Remus looked back at him.

"Oh, Sirius," Remus gasped. Sirius smiled at him and pulled him out of bed.

"I did a lot of research to get the right flowers," Sirius said, and Remus raised a brow as Sirius led him to a purplish flower. "This is a blue-violet; it symbolizes faith, affection, intuition, and love," He said, moving to the next. "These Red Roses obviously mean love," The shaggy hair man said before moving on, "These Daisies mean 'I love you truly,' He said, pointing to a bouquet of white flowers with a yellow middle. "These are Yellow pansies, which means 'I'm always thinking of you,'" Sirius concluded his explanation of the flowers, and Remus looked at him with love-filled eyes; he looked around the room and paused on a single flower that his mate didn't go over.

"What's that one?" He asked, and Sirius blushed.

"Lupine," he said, and Remus raised a brow. "That is its name. It represents what I feel for you—admiration and respect," he said, and Remus smiled widely. He moved towards the taller man and pulled his head down in a soft kiss.

"I love this, Thank you," Remus said, and Sirius smiled.

"That's not all. Get dressed. We're going out," Sirius said, and Remus gave him one last peck before going into the bathroom to shower and get dressed.

After they were both dressed, Sirius wrapped his arms around Remus and carried him away. When they landed, the shorter man looked around and gasped. "Paris?" he asked, looking at the tower in the distance.

"Yup, I asked Lucius to use one of his family Manors here for three days," Sirius said, and Remus beamed happily at him.
