Sirius and Remus spent the day at Malfoy Manor. They started plans on how to take down Dumbledore, and though they wanted to be very involved in what the man did to their cub, they couldn't. With Remus being a werewolf, one of the most disliked creatures in the magical world, he couldn't do much. With Sirius's history of Azkaban and many still not believing his innocence, no one would listen to him, and if he tried to help, he is sure that the media would have a negative reaction. So, they were leaving it to the others; they will be there for the final battle, though.

It was getting late, and Harry decided he wanted to stay with his mate, so the two older men were going home alone. "Siri, can we go to Grimmauld?" Remus asked as they made their way to the floo after saying goodbye to their cub.

"I don't know, the order still holds their meeting there, don't they?" He asked, and Remmy frowned.

"Yeah, but you can band them, can't you? You are the lord of the Black family after all," Remus said and Sirius nodded, that was true he could band them.

"Ok, let's go. We can collect our things from Severus's house before heading there," Sirius said, taking some floo powder and throwing it in the fireplace.

They stepped through and came out the other end in the living room of his childhood home. Sirius looked around and sighed at the sight. There was a layer of dust covering everything in the living room. It was even less homey than he remembered. He pulled out his wand and thought for a moment, then waved it. The dust cleared up, and the dark blue wallpaper that made the room darker turned to a light purple. The dark brown couches turned cream, and the rug turned to a lighter color.

The room looked a lot homier and a bit more lively than before. Turning to Remus, he smiled, seeing the man look around the room. "What do you think?" He asked. The short man looked up at him and smiled back at him.

"It's better than before; we need to do the rest of the rooms," Remus said, stepping closer to Sirius.

"Good idea," Sirius agreed, casting a tempus. Seeing that it was almost dinner, he sighed. "It's almost dinner, and I doubt there is anything in the kitchen," Sirius said, running his hand over his face.

"Why don't I go to the muggle supermarket down the block and get some groceries," Remus suggested, and Sirius nodded. Remus leaned up and kissed him before rushing out the door. Sirius decided to change some more rooms until Remus got back.

He had done two bedrooms and a few other rooms before he heard his mate's voice call him from downstairs. He put away his wand and made his way downstairs. He went into the kitchen to find a spotless kitchen and bags of groceries on the table. Remus was filling a pot with water. "What are you making, love?" He asked, and Remus stumbled as he put the pot on the stove, making water slosh over the side.

"Sorry, it's been a while since you called me that?" Remus said, and Sirius chuckled, walking over to him and kissing his cheek.

"I'll call you that and a lot more very soon," He said, winking as he stepped away. "So, what are we making?" He asked, and Remus playfully glared at him.

"I thought I would make some chicken alfredo," Remus said; Sirius's eyes lit up.

"Yes!" he exclaimed. "You make awesome Alfredo from what I can remember," he said, and Remus shook his head.

"Mmhmm, now get out of the kitchen. You're a disaster in here without even cooking," Remus said, and Sirius pouted.

"But I want to help," he whined, and Remus shook his head, stepping closer to the taller man. He reached up and gripped the back of Sirius's neck before pulling his head down and connecting their lips. Sirius gasped, and Remus used the opportunity to stick his tongue inside his mate's mouth and explore his mouth. He pulled away after a minute or two because of the air.

Sirius looked down at him, dazed, and the werewolf smirked. "Why don't you go change some more rooms? I'll make dinner and give you more later," he said, and Sirius nodded.

"Y-yeah, s-sure," He said with a red face and left the kitchen to finish his tasks.
