People often ask me
why am I still single.
Perhaps I am not attractive enough,
or perhaps I don't evoke a ray of girlfriend material.
Perhaps I do not embody the qualities
they are searching for in someone,
or perhaps they could not handle a woman like me - strong, bold, and tough.
Perhaps they are intimidated by me,
or perhaps they just don't have the courage
to ask a woman who knows her worth.
Nonetheless, it never bothered me.
I have yet to find the man who is worthy of me,
and I have yet to become the woman
who is deserving of him.
Thereby,
I am staying single
until then.
