Chapter 8. Intruder

Livvy's P.O.V

I kept walking towards the forest. The snow stopped and I took off my beanie. I breathed out seeing my breath in the cold weather. I kept waking into the forest when I stopped in front of a old abounded house. I walked towards the back and dug up silver chains I dug. I ripped off the old rusty chains and wrapped the cellar handles with the silver chains. I walked in to the house to see most of the rooms were locked except mine.

 I opened the door to see it was nice and clean. I sat on my bed that I never sleep on and placed my beanie on my bed.

This beanie had one of dad's experiment spays where wolves can't smell your scent. I sprayed some more on it just in case. I laid down on my bed and stared up at the ceiling. I closed my eyes then quickly opened them when I heard voices.

"It's over here," said a little girls voice. 

I quickly stood up, all the windows were boarded up but I left a small crack in mine. I looked out the crack to see one of the dudes from before with a little girl.

"They say back Seven years ago two packs were murdered by some strong animal figure," the girl squealed.

"Hurry up and get what you need I don't like being around abounded houses."

I watched the girl walked towards the cellar.

"Hm, I would hurry up but its locked with silver chains."

"I can't grab it or it will hurt me."

"We got bolt cutters in the car."

He sighed,

"Fine, just for my little girl."

"Thanks papa."

Papa...

I shook my head from the thought and shifted into a white fox. I walked towards the back and blended with the snow. She looked my way and I stood up growling, she screamed and the man came running with the bolt cutters.

"It's alright, it's just a fox. Usually they don't do harm to us."

I growled and walked slowly towards them. The man pushed the girl behind her and backed up.

"The heck," he mumbled.

"What if its a she and she has babies by here. That could be it," the girl said.

I was now in front of the cellar.

"Great, now how am I gonna look inside that," she growled.

"I'll just scare it away."

He smirked and shifted into a wolf, I wasn't as big as him but medium size. He growled and walked towards me. I stood my ground sitting there staring at him. He looked confused then he charged at me. I waited then tilted my head when he jumped so he missed my neck, yet I grabbed his neck and threw him. 

"Papa!" the girl cried.

Stop saying that, I wanted to growl. Stay calm.

I snapped at her but the wolf tackled me down. I quickly pushed him off and thew him once again, this time at a tree. He whimpered. Blood was oozing from his neck.

He growled at the girl and she quickly ran to him. She jumped on his back and they left. To easy.

I smirked and walked back into the house. I walked to my room and when I turned the nob it didn't open. I looked up to see I was trying to enter father's room. I quickly took my hand off the nob. It didn't burn my hand as I couldn't feel pain, but it was Papa's room. 

"Enough Livvy, you're not going to cry again over something stupid, you have to stay strong," I growled.

Suddenly my growl went away and went to a whimper. I sighed and laid my hand on my door,

"What do I do now for the time I have left. What's the purpose of me now. I'm not human, I can never be one."

I leaned against the door.

"What would I be doing now if you were alive. Would I be dead to you."

Axel's P.O.V

"So now your like a detective or something," chuckled Isabel.

"Probably," I smirked.

Isabel is my cousin and joined my pack like her parents. She's the pack nurse during the day yet at night she's like a scientist. 

"So do you anything about this girl at all."

"All I know is she doesn't have no scent."

"Impossible. Everyone has a scent, she could be using something to cover it," She thought.

She whipped her glasses on her shirt before putting them back on and looking out the window.

"Hm, I can try and find out what she's using if I had what she's wearing."

"Yeah like I'm going to steal her jacket."

She shrugged. Suddenly the door slam open,

"Daddy needs help."

I looked at Isabel then back to Casey who was Spence's daughter. We followed her and in terror seeing Spence laying on the floor, blood squirting from his neck. I ran to him and quickly carried him.

"Isabel get ready at the pack nurse," I yelled.

She nodded and she ran quickly. I ran as fast as I could and she pressed a button as soon as she came in.

"This way," she yelled.

I placed him on a bed and took him away.

"What happened," I said turning to Casey.

"We went to the old pack house and when we got there a fox was there. It growled at us and then when daddy tried to attack it the wolf grabbed his neck and threw him."

"What? Are you sure, what fox with that much strength can throw a wolf like him."

"I don't know, I think it had babies because it was protecting the shed."

Strange.

"I need to check this fox out. Maybe it could of been a wolf."
