Chapter 16. Cold

Axel's P.O.V

The wolfs turned and ran back into the woods.

It was true she was Alpha's Brad's daughter. How? There was no survivors, but her. Isabel quickly ran to what looked like her blood. She collected samples. 

"The heck is this," she mumbled.

I felt my heart broken, she's still my mate I still care about her.

"Follow me alpha."

I did and we walked to her lab. She begun to test the blood. 

"This isn't blood this is chemicals."

"What, chemicals?"

"I don't know what Alpha Brad did but her did something to her."

"I still don't understand nor believe this."

She turned to me,

"She has an answer just no one would give her time. Alpha Tyler wants to ruin her life for a reason. That reason is to kill her and he must know something if he wants us all to kill her."

"I'm not gonna go asked that bastard."

"Then we got to ask Livvy quick."

I nodded.

"But where could she be."

Then I thought about her house. I quickly ran without taking a car and shifted, Isabel was right behind me.

Livvy's P.O.V

My body couldn't stop shaking and my head was pounding. Tears couldn't stop rolling down my cheeks as I was in my room and boarded my self if. Everything was a mess, nothing was right. I covered my self with a blanket and tried to stop the chemicals from pouring out of my body but it didn't stop, I wasn't healing fast enough. 

I was sick..

I suddenly heard footsteps.

"Livvy."

It was Axel. Why was he here, why does he still care. No one would care for a monster like me. I heard the door nob turn but it was no use, I made sure to nail that door so no one could break it. 

"Livvy, please come out."

I didn't answer.

"I'll break this door down."

I stood quiet and made my back face the door. I heard the door being kicked down and saw two shadows approach me. 

"Livvy. Are you alright."

He touched my shoulder by I pushed him away making him stumble.

"Get out of here away from me."

"Liv-"

"No. I'm not anybody's anymore," I growled sitting up.

I noticed Isabel staring at my wounds and I covered them up with my blanket. I glared at Axel.

"Livvy, please we can let you explain we'll understand."

"Understand. No one understands, no one will ever will understand me. You don't know who or what I am in the first place. So why did you just decided I was your mate, why didn't you leave me when I said so."

I could see his eyes sadden.

"Cause were mates. That's something are wolfs choose, or your animal chooses."

I looked away. He laid his hand on me.

"You're cold."

I pushed his hand away as I felt the warmth creep up on me. Then he came closer, and I stood back ti'll my back hit the wall.

"Get away," I yelled.

He hugged me tight ti'll I felt the warmth all over my body. I suddenly felt dizzy and slipped from his grip and fell knocking out.

Axel's P.O.V

I quickly caught her before she hit the ground. I carried her bride style and turned to Isabel.

"We need to take her back with me, I need to check what exactly is in her."

I thought for awhile how she didn't want to have a blood sample but now we know she doesn't have blood. She has something else. I looked up her and she seemed shocked as tears rolled down my eyes.

"Alpha do this for her, she just misunderstood. It's true that no one understands but we can."

I nodded and followed her back to the pack hospital.

I stood by her body laying on the bed as Isabel took blood samples. She placed them on the monitor and started writing down stuff.

"Alpha Brad has been doing this, it seems like this wasn't his first," Isabel mumbled.

"Are you saying before maybe he made more."

"Probably but who knows what happen to them."

I stared down at Livvy who was breathing slowly.

Isabel stared hard at her notes.

"What's wrong."

"She's made of some types of chemicals, and some other stuff I don't under stand."

I looked at her confused.

"There's something wrong making her cold but I don't know what it is."

Suddenly livvy's eyes opened. She looked around confused before sitting up

"What is going on."

She noticed needles attached onto her. She glared at Isabel.

"Livvy," I mumbled.

She didn't turn to be but crossed her arms staring down at her legs. She looked so ashamed,

"Luna, there's something wrong with your body that's making you cold and sicker. Do you know what it is."

She didn't answer. I growled,

"Look Livvy, we may not understand you like to said but we will never understand why you didn't if you don't explain." 

She looked up at me and her eyes looked so sad. Then looked at Isabel before looking back down. 

"I'm a test subject to Brad."

I noticed Isabel start to write. Livvy never looked so depressed. It broke my heart seeing her like this.

"Go ahead take your time."
