Chapter 12. What are you.

Livvy's P.O.V

I quickly shifted into my wolf and stood in front of the girl. Then when suddenly more came out I panicked. I got down lower and pushed into the girl telling her to get on my back, she quickly did and I shifted into my cheetah. She held on tight and I ran while she screamed holding me tighter.

Why can't they leave me alone. I kept running faster loosing them. I could hear gun shots.

"We lost them," the girl said.

I stopped and fell down. I took deep breaths. I never took someone on my back, especially an eleven year old. She looked pale as she looked at me.

"Axel still there."

I tried to stand but fell and shifted into my human. I looked up at her and she shook in fear.

"W-what are you."

"Something that shouldn't exist. Now come on lets get you home I'll go for Axel, they don't want nothing to do with him."

We stopped in front of the pack house.

"Can we keep this between you and I little girl. I rather tell them myself."

"Don't worry, they won't believe me either way," she smiled.

I nodded and quickly ran back towards the house.

After running back with out shifting I noticed they were all gone. I ran towards the back to see my window, or what was blocked up broken. I peeked through to see Axel laying there unconscious. I jumped through and dragged him on the bed. 

"Why are all alpha's so heavy," I growled.

After getting him on the bed I walked towards my dad's office. He always had some medicine there for himself. I walked in and felt the chills, the place was all torn up. I quickly opened his closet and found a first aid kit. I grabbed it and quickly walked out. 

I wrapped bandages around his wounds and treated everything else. I sat there watching him. After a couple of hours I decided to check on his wounds. The ones on his back were the worst. I slightly lifted up his shirt reviling his back....all those muscles.

I heard a groan and saw him turn his head looking at me. I looked back at him then noticed what this looked like. I screamed and fell back.

"It's not what it looks like! You were hurt! I-I was just helping you heal," I screamed embarrassed.

"Whoa whoa calm down."

I looked at him to see him sitting up. He looked around,

"What happened."

Then in an instant he stood.

"Casey where is she."

"She's home. I took her back."

"What were those wolves."

I didn't answer that. He stared at me.

"You are quiet suspicious if you ask me."

He looked around then back at me.

"So...you do live here."

I looked away looking out the window. 

"Yeah. I lived here."

"So you saw what kil-"

He paused. I didn't know what to say, I was the one that did it I can't just tell him that.

"How did you get away from those wolves, they looked like roughs, or at least stronger."

"I call them the Trebles. Cause they're always trouble yet I just wanted to mix the word up. Anyways, we out ran them."

"Wow, then you must be quick for a human," he said staring at me with a eyebrow raised.

I felt a strike of fear hit me.

"You know I can sense fear," he mumbled.

I looked at him still feeling my blood go cold.

"And I smell lots on you now. That's telling me you're not human."

"I'm a werewolf."

Half true.

"Oh, is that why you left me, you thought I was human."

"No. I know you're the same."

"Then why did you do it."

I didn't answer it. I noticed he was getting impatient.

"I rather not talk about it," I whispered.

"Well you seemed very protective about that shed."

"It was my alpha's. I don't like anyone going down there," I lied.

He stood up and walked out the room. I followed behind him and he looked around.

"Well do you mind if I walk around here."

I shrugged. I followed him as he looked around, he walked into my dad's office. I felt cold.

"So this was your alpha's office."

I nodded. He stared at me,

"Are you cold?"

"Yeah. Just so cold in here," I mumbled.

"Weird. Well I can warm you up."

My face felt like it was burning. He smirked.

"Blushing much?"

"WHAT?! NO," I yelled.

He laughed and hugged me. I suddenly felt the warm in his body. I snuggled closer. So warm. 

"Well seems you warmed up quickly," he said letting me go.

I felt my skin and it was warm. He managed to transfer his heat to me. Just like when I touched the stove top.

"Livvy," Axel mumbled.

"Yeah?"

"Will you stay with me. Please, you're my mate. I only get one and so do you."

I bit my tongue. I couldn't but he wanted me so badly. Maybe I can spend my life with him. 

At least the last couple of days....
