Chapter 10. Questions but no answers

Axel's P.O.V

I made some steak and place it in front of Livvy. She sat there angry. She looked at what I made and I saw her nose twitch. I sat down next to her.

"So you want to tell me a little bit about yourself."

She picked at the steak before cutting it and eating. She swallowed before answering

"There's nothing about me to tell," she mumbled.

"Sure there is. I mean I have some questions to ask you."

She didn't answer.

"Like why couldn't I pick up your scent before."

"You probably got a bad nose."

I raised my eyebrow while she continued to eat and didn't look up at me.

"So what are you exactly, I can't tell."

"A person."

"Livvy I'm serious."

"Well I am too about leaving."

I growled loudly.

"You're not going anywhere. Why do you want to leave so badly."

She didn't answer. I noticed she had a tight grip on her fork ti'll where it looked like she could bent it. 

"It's non of your business."

"It is now."

Before she could say something Isabel came in.

"Alpha I have some good news- oh am I interrupting something?"

"No, what's the good news."

"Spence will be alright. Seems like that fox really got him badly but didn't bite down enough to kill him. Did you find it?"

"No, but on my way I did find my mate."

"Oh hello I'm Isabel," she greeted.

Livvy didn't answer.

"I don't know what she is," I whispered to Isabel.

-We can take some blood test on her.-

Livvy stood up,

"Where's the restroom."

"Down the hall second door," Isabel smiled.

She walked down the hall.

I sighed.

"Hey, give her time she may look like you won't have a future but trust me you will."

I smiled,

"We can take the blood test today if you like, I'll be at the pack house."

"Alright then."

She left and Livvy came back and sat down. I grabbed our plates and placed them in the sink. 

"So what do you do for a living."

"Stuff," she mumbled.

I finished up and sighed. I walked back to the table to see her looking down at her hands.

"Are you afraid of me," I suddenly said.

"No," she said giving me a cold look.

I sighed and she jerked in pain. Did I hurt her.

"I'm sorry did I hurt you," I said running up to her.

"No. Just got a sudden cramp, not from you."

I thought this would be a good way to get her to go to the pack doctor.

"Come on I'll go get you some medicine for that."

"I'm fine."

I raised my eye brow at her.

"Only medicine?"

"Yes."

She stared at me with a hard stare . She nodded her head and followed behind me. I smiled and grabbed the keys to my car. I walked in the garage and opened the door for her. She sat in and I closed the car door then went to my seat.

We quickly drove off to the pack nurse.

"Alright Livvy come on in," Isabel smiled. 

Livvy walked into the room and I followed behind her. Isabel checked her by doing a quick check up.

"Hm everything normal. So cramps right? hm, I'll get a blood test on you real quick to make sure it's nothing else."

I noticed Livvy stiffened.

"Blood test. I don't need one," Livvy said.

"Well just to check up."

"No thank you. I just came to get the medicine nothing else."

She seemed very serious. Isabel narrowed her eyes at her,

"Is there something your hiding."

"Are you questioning me," Livvy said pissed.

"Uh, no just asking."

"Well that's a no, and that's all you need to know."

Isabel gave a quick glance at me before walking out the room.

"Is something wrong Livvy."

"I hate needles."

"Oh, I see."

I didn't want to ask her anything else. I noticed she seemed tensed up, was she really hiding something. Maybe something about her like she's a secret agent wolf or something.

"Here you go Livvy all you is take these twice a day, one at day and one at night." 

I noticed Isabel had something in her hand. Livvy stood up to leave and when Isabel walked past her something cut Livvy's shoulder. Quickly Livvy grabbed her shoulder and hissed.

"I'm so sorry," Isabel said.

"Let me clean that up for you."

"No. Damit, i'm fine," she said pissed.

Livvy walked out the room.

"What the hell was that," I growled.

"She's hiding something Alpha."

"Well that's no way to treat your future Luna."

She didn't answer and I walked out the room to look at for Livvy. I followed her scent towards the girls bathroom. I knocked,

"Livvy."

"I'm fine. Just go wait."

I sighed and went to go sit down. She came out after a few minutes. She had a bandage on her shoulder. She thanked a lady that also was in there.

"You al-"

"Yeah, that lady gave me a bandage."

"Good. Come on let's go."

She didn't respond but followed behind me.

Livvy's P.O.V

I covered my shoulder and quickly ran towards the girls bathroom. I took off my hand to see it cut opened. I grabbed paper towels to clean it up. The chemicals coming out of me was red like humans blood but isn't the same. I heard a flush and panicked, a lady came out and noticed my cut that was starting to heal.

"Oh, do you need a bandage?"

"Uh, yeah."

She placed it on my cut. She smiled,

"There."

"Thanks," I smiled.

She looked so nice and kind. I walked out the bathroom where Axel was waiting. Great. I followed behind him thinking how that lady was so kind. I wondered if mom's were like that.
