The secrets of Yin and Yang

Part 2:They're not alive,they can't be!

After patching up the boy's wounds MinLin gave him a spare set of Jordan's clothes and asked him for his name which he hesitated to say."My name is Kohrae,Kohrae Ritora."He said shyly.Now that she got a good look at him she noticed that he was half dragon and half Ferox,his hair was white with large black tufts much like MinLin's strange ear,his horns were a teal colour and his eyes were purple with red rings in the centre.

"Thank you for your hospitality."Kohrae said to MinLin.

"No,I should be thanking you because you saved my life twice.But when I found you I saw symbols around your waist and not to forget your arms,what do they mean?"MinLin asked.

Kohrae had told her that he's had them since one of Mythra's six arbiters saved him while fleeing the desert.Her name was Arbiter Kaitlyn and she had told him that he is the next generation Arbiter of the desert.In other words she acts like a motherly figure and a mentor.

"Around my waist the symbols say 'Arbiter of the desert'.But my arm marks,they are the remnants of a curse."Ritora said as his ears began drooping.

MinLin wanted to know who cursed him but he wouldn't tell her,just a second later Darian told everyone to come to the balcony and fast because something was wrong.

"Guys,look at the sky it's crimson red,something's not right."Darian said.

MinLin continued to gaze until she saw something that shook her to the very core.It was the Corruption and it returned after centuries of imprisonment.According to the legends of Ancient Mythra The corruption was created from the hatred of Gozmerians who didn't want to accept their fate as Mythrans because Mythra was formerly called Gozmera and the people were humanoid.Over time they evolved and gained animal like features but some despised it and turned to the darkness becoming the corruption which has tormented the Mythrans since the dawn of time.But Yin and her fated loved one Yang were the only deities powerful enough to not destroy it but rather imprison it.This became a ferocious conflict that most Mythrans called the corrupt war but some still alive to have witnessed it called it the imprisoning war for the imprisonment of the corruption.After Yin and Yang imprisoned the corruption and its lord they ensured its dark power would never harm the Mythrans again so created the six Arbiters.Each Arbiter was in charge of each of the nations and they held onto a secret told to them by either Yin or Yang to prevent their power from falling into the wrong hands.

A crimson fog began to shroud Beast City and the group watched as it consumed anyone who touched it.In only 4 minutes almost everyone vanished because of the crimson shroud and MinLin and her group were next.

"Oh God!That fog is gonna kill us what're we going to do?!"Jordan asked panicking.

"Gah I don't know,I'll think of something!"MinLin said just as scared as Jordan.

The fog had reached their dorm and everyone was ready to accept their fate but were confused as MinLin unknowingly cast a shield of what appears to be Luma.Everyone opened their eyes in surprise when they saw the strange shield,they wanted to know how MinLin did it but she was as confused as they were.The fog was gone and it was safe to step outside only to realize that out of everyone who was consumed by the shroud they were the only survivors.An orb of Luma appeared in front of them and somehow it talked?

"Are you guys okay?"The orb asked.

"What you can talk?!"Everyone said shocked at the same time.

"Bah no time for questions,I'm Lucian and let me get this straight,you guys were able to survive the shroud?How?"Lucian asked.

"We don't know—I just somehow did that."MinLin said.

Lucian was surprised thinking that MinLin may be the one to save everyone.He told the group that he was a part of Yin and Yang's power and if they want to save Mythra they need to find and learn the secrets of Yin and Yang's true power.Now with their mission in hand they debated on which nation to search first until Jordan came up with a suggestion.

"Most of the nations like Wolvendom and Yokairo are pretty dangerous or so I've heard,so why not go to my home nation Rokirikori."Jordan suggested.

Everyone agreed on that so prepared to fly since it was faster that way.Jordan rode his hoverboard,Darian turned into a Shadow spirit,MinLin and KimLin used their elemental power but MinLin wondered how Kohrae would get airborne until he showed everyone he had dragon wings.They then set off on their journey to save Mythra from the grip of the corruption.

"Huh?So there were some survivors,well this will be fun to corrupt them.Let the game begin."

(*evil laughter*)
