Part 8:No matter what

Darian went with her twin and Jordan,KimLin went with Albedo but couldn't stop eying Kohrae while leaving and MinLin went with Kohrae to search the maze.While walking MinLin told Kohrae that he's really opened up a lot whereas when they first found him he was shy and reserved.He chuckled nervously while agreeing with her that he has opened up to others but they stopped because they were at a dead end.They tried to go back but the corruption had ambushed them,MinLin and Ritora stood their ground but the corrupt forces were just too strong.MinLin got captured in a bubble made of corruption which stopped her from using her power,Kohrae tried to get her out but his great sword couldn't shatter the bubble.

"Koko,behind you!!"MinLin shouted.

Kohrae turned around but was too late as a corrupt spirit knocked him out with a vase,before he completely passed out he threw down his distress beacon signaling the others beforehand.Everyone got to where the distress signal was but only found a shattered vase and an unconscious Ritora.They shook him up and asked what happened but he couldn't remember anything about what just happened.

"You.......You murderer!You killed my sister and hid her body!"KimLin yelled enraged.

Albedo said she was jumping too fast to conclusions but she didn't listen as her fit of rage caused her to stab her spear into Kohrae's stomach igniting it in the process.

"Oh my Zero Dawn,KimLin stop!!We don't know what actually happened so don't jump to conclusions yet."Albedo said holding KimLin back.

Jordan thought of something,he was clever enough to install cameras into the beacons to know if it was a false alarm but first asked if everyone had their beacons,everyone except Kohrae had theirs and the camera showed them that MinLin was kidnapped by the corruption and they Knocked Ritora out before he could even try to go after her.

"Oh my god I really did overreact.I'm so sorry Ritora."KimLin said with guilt.

Darian did note that Kohrae is a man of his word before they went after MinLin,they asked if Kohrae needed help but he told them to go without him and save her on his behalf because he would join them later after treating his burned stab wound.To their shock she was at the centre of the chamber and not only that but their worst fear came true as MinLin was corrupted.She charged directly at them and they tried to find a way to cleanse her of the corruption but to no avail.Kohrae entered the chamber only to find MinLin corrupted and the others beaten down by her unmatched strength.He tried to reason with her but she charged at him,he blocked her attacks yet wouldn't do anything.Jordan and the others began to wonder why he doesn't attack and Albedo gave them their answer.

"He loves her so much that he doesn't want to hurt her at all."Albedo said.

MinLin knocked Kohrae's great sword out of his hand and began lashing out at him.He blocked them with his arms but the more he did that the lower his guard got but he knew if he lowered his guard then he would die.MinLin's spear stabbed him in the chest but with the last strength he had he kissed her.

Everyone could only watch and saw that Kohrae's love for MinLin caused the corruption to leave her body,he collapsed into her arms and she realized that she nearly killed him because of the corruption.The corrupt remnants of Kohrae's father tried to get to the pedestal to learn Yin and Yang's knowledge on their power but realized MinLin had gotten to it before he could even try.

"Don't ever come near me or my family ever again."MinLin said with an irrational sense of hatred.

With a single blast of Luma Ritora's father was now dead and he was free from his control.Destroying his father dropped a single Ore and it was tainted with corruption,Blade said how it radiates in powerful corrupt aura that it nearly made him feel sick to his stomach so that might be powerful enough to power the antidote device and save the Shadow Walkers and he was right.With the power of Blade's antidote device he was able to destroy the mutant corruption as if it never existed.Now the group only had 2 more secrets to learn but only 1 place left to look however that place was none other than Wolvendom one of the most dangerous places in all of Mythra.Before they were about to leave the next morning Blade came running and Darian asked why he ran to them.

"*panting* Oh my god you guys are fast let me catch my breath...Darian I want to come with you."He said out of breath.

"Why though,don't the Shadow walkers need you to defend them with the corruption getting stronger?"Darian asked.

"I spoke to Lord Death,he said that with that device the nation doesn't need my defence and I want to help you save the world so please let me come with you."Blade pleaded.

Darian thought for a moment,she hadn't seen her brother since she moved to the Beastu region at 17 and she wanted nothing more than to be with her brother again so agreed.Albedo warned the group that Wolvendom is even more dangerous than Yokairo was so they need to stay vigilant.KimLin wanted to ask Albedo why he said Zero Dawn earlier but now wasn't a good time.Jordan asked why Blade's hair is almost identical to Kohrae's hair which slightly agitated the dragon Ferox but Blade told him why.Unlike most Shadow Walkers he was born with the recessive trait of white hair while most are born with black hair he still had the purple fade but not the black hair which it why he looked nothing like a Shadow Walker.The group entered the ever winter mountains of Wolvendom and the skies were red tainted with the corruption.

"They've almost found out all knowledge on Yin and Yang's power,ha that couple couldn't defeat me and nor will they."A dark figure said.

"No let us go,Nate please help me!"A girl said.

"Don't worry sis Albedo will come for us and no matter what happens to us we have to at least try to help him."A boy said.
