Part 6:Father vs Son

The sandstorm was enough to disorient that man for a while giving MinLin and her group a few minutes to get a head start but he was still hot on their tails literally.The ran from room to room in hopes they would lose that man but no matter how hard they tried they couldn't lose him.They regrouped and went to the centre in order to get to the arcane knowledge first but realized this whole chase was just a diversion.That man had already gotten to the central alter and he armed his claws to grab and corrupt MinLin but Kohrae pushed her out of the way and was corrupted himself as the claws sank deep into his face.

"Grah,I cannot fight it for much longer,learn the knowledge and just leave me!"Kohrae said as his eyes began turning red.

"But Koko what about you?"MinLin asked worried.

"Just go,RUN!"Kohrae yelled with the last of whatever control he had over his body.

By then he began attacking MinLin and the others unable to control his body,in his consciousness there was a fierce battle between Father and son.If Kohrae won then he'd get his body back but if he lost and his consciousness was killed it would not longer be his body.He set his target as MinLin and tackled her but as he was about to slash her throat with his great sword he temporarily regained control of himself preventing him from killing her but when he lost control he struck MinLin in the back with his Electra.

"No,MinLin!What did you do to my sister?!"KimLin asked enraged.

KimLin was so mad that she attacked Kohrae with Pyra as hotter than the sun,MinLin got back up and began sprinting to get the orb.Just as Ritora was about to catch her again a Wolven with angel wings and White hair tackled him telling MinLin to get the orb before Kohrae breaks free.Heeding his word she sprinted and retrieved the orb which gave her a strange power to cast orbs of a combination of both Luma and Umbra.

She shot one at Kohrae which got His father out of his body but the fight caused the catacombs to break and sand started to fill the room.

"Hurry we have to get out of here!"The Wolven yelled.

"But what about Koko?"MinLin asked

Kohrae told her to just leave him because he has to make sure that his father never harms anyone ever again even if it has the means of sacrificing himself to do it.Kohrae entered his fighting stance as he rushed towards his corrupt father,now this was the true battle between him and his father.Halfway during their fight his father summoned sharp tendrils of corruption,Ritora tried to get rid of them but they grew back and struck him in his arms,legs,stomach and one was so close to his heart.

"No!!Don't even try!"A familiar voice yelled.

Kohrae looked over and saw that MinLin came back even though he told her to leave him for dead and save herself.She helped release him and prepared to help Kohrae defeat his father.

"Man to think you'd kill your own father,don't forget what you are."That man said taunting Ritora.

Kohrae froze but his eyes began glowing a blue colour,he ran away from him as a child because he couldn't fight but now he won't give up until his father dies.

"I am an arbiter,not a lab rat and you think that just because I am your son you can do what you want to me?You will not leave these catacombs alive,they shall be your grave."Kohrae said

MinLin had never seen Ritora this angry before but she wanted to help him end the figure that caused him great pain and sorrow.Together they defeated his father but were now trapped within the central altar as sand began filling the room,as it seemed they were going to be buried alive a blue glowing aura engulfed them and brought them to the surface.

"What?I thought we were gonna die."MinLin said confused.

No one knew what just happened but now Yokairo was freed from the corruption and it was safer because of that.Some Yokairans found them and led them to the safety of the village because a sandstorm was imminent,they were taken to a clinic to take care of their wounds but Kohrae noticed something strange about his nurse.

"You have the same hair colour and same type of horns as I,what a coincidence."Kohrae said smiling.

"Wait,what is your name?"The lady asked.

Kohrae told her his name and she ran to him crying because it turns out she was actually his Mother Cynder.

"Look at you,you've grown up so much last time I saw you."She said with tears in her eyes.

Kohrae was never allowed to see his mother when he was a child and seeing her for the first time made him hug her and he didn't want to let go.He shed tears of joy because he was so happy to see his mother and she was one of the only few who knew that he was an arbiter.MinLin wanted to check on him and saw that he reunited with Cynder,she smiled and let them be for a while until Ritora got out.

"Hey uh you there,who are you and how did you know where we were?"MinLin asked to the Wolven.

"I'm Albedo,I'm a Zero Dawn well the last one and it was I who broke that barrier to Yokairo."The Wolven said.

"What were the Zero Dawns?"MinLin asked.

"They uh We were created from a powerful flower that held the power of a god and it was called the Zero Dawn.There was only one in this world so that's how I was created but there was an incident and out of all of the Zero Dawns  only I survived."Albedo explained.

"Wait,half of Kohrae's father is still in him and he's feeding on Ritora's rage and sorrow to control him again.If he stays in there too long it might be too late to stop him.Luckily I know how to destroy it."Darian said.

Darian told everyone that in order to destroy Kohrae's father's corruption they need the help of her twin brother Blade Hanazawa at the isle of Shadow.

"Guys wait,I want to help you,as the last Zero Dawn I will help you save Mythra and everyone with it.I pledged that I would fight for the Mythrans no matter what I am and I will do it."Albedo said.
