The secrets of Yin and Yang

Part 5:The place I never wanted to return to

The Rokiri gathered around MinLin and the other fox girls cheering for saving them,not long after the boys came out and they then decided where to go next but the skies turned red as the lord of the corruption had a message for the group.

"So you defeated Kate,I knew she was too weak to send but now I've put barriers all around the other nations so you can't enter them.Wait what how?!The one to Yokairo was broken,who did that?Aw Shi-"The lord of the corruption said before it cut out.

"Well I guess we're going to Yokairo next?"Jordan said shrugging.

MinLin noticed that Kohrae seemed terrified when he heard them say that he never told her this but after he ran away from the desert at 15 he never wanted to go back.At Kai and Tristen's old bunker they asked why he was so scared on returning to Yokairo,he didn't say anything for his answer rather he lifted his shirt and everyone was horrified when they saw the millions of scars that marked his body.

"What did that to you?"MinLin asked horrified.

Kohrae only responded with 'that man' as if something forced him to keep his mouth shut.MinLin thought for a moment and remembered the time when she asked how he got the tattoos on his arms but he said they weren't tattoos but rather the remains of a curse.'That man' must have been the one who cursed him.
As they were on their way to Yokairo MinLin comforted Kohrae saying if they do find 'that man' again she will protect him no matter what.
The group got to the desolate desert nation of Yokairo and the sights showed them how dangerous the desert can be.

"The desert is always very dangerous but with the corruption rampant it is more dangerous than it has ever been,we must be careful."Kohrae warned.

"Yo Jordan I hope you can still outrun the corruption."Darian teased.

"Hey I'm hurt—not out of shape!"Jordan said angrily.

MinLin and KimLin laughed while Darian and Jordan had their love drama.They saw a village so landed there in search for survivors and answers to the Yokairan Arbiter's knowledge of Yin and Yang's power.While looking they found out that a Feroxian immigrant survived to shroud and he said he was Kohrae's dad.

"Stay away from me and my friends."Kohrae growled.

MinLin was curious on why he said that but kept it to herself and told everyone to follow him.Kohrae's father led them to his home and said they could make themselves at home but asked to speak to Kohrae in private.Jordan thought to himself that something wasn't right because Ritora would've had a reason to be angry at his father.He called out a robot companion he made known as S.E.E.K (super energetic electric kin) and told him to follow Kohrae and see what happens.

"So ya think ya can start ignorin' your family just because you ran away?"His father asked glaring at Ritora.

"I did not run away from my family,I ran away because of you.You are nothing like a father."Kohrae said angrily.

His father took a needle filled with a drug and stabbed it into Kohrae's neck causing him to lose consciousness.That man picked him up and carried him away to bind his arms and legs so he could abuse him for running away.Seek saw this and rushed back to Jordan showing them everything and Kohrae's father's true intentions.

"No mystery he growled at his dad and was so scared to come back here.We have to get him back before that that Bastard gets him killed."MinLin said.

They followed seek to where Kohrae's father took him and they peek through a small crack in the door.There were goons with metal bars,whips and knives,they poured a bucket of water over Kohrae's head to wake him up and his father asked him why he ran away and didn't listen to him.

"I had run away because I could not see my mother because of you and you would beat me until I would scream.I have my Zoochosis because of you and yet no matter what I had done because of it you would do nothing,You do not deserve to be called a father."Kohrae growled.

His father gave a signal and one goon kicked Ritora so hard in the stomach the chair he was bound to broke and he fell to the ground wheezing and coughing.A second goon with a metal bar began striking him so hard that Kohrae screamed.MinLin couldn't stand this a second longer so kicked the door so hard it broke off its hinges,she was so mad that she caused a literal tornado to destroy the room.The goons were dead but Kohrae's father had already escaped,MinLin helped release Kohrae and asked him if this was what he suffered as a child.He nodded while hugging his sore ribs with his arm but he said that he knew what his Father was after and it was Kaitlyn's knowledge on Yin and Yang's power,they have to stop him before he gets his hands on that knowledge.They searched whatever was left of the room but didn't find much until KimLin found a parchment that was the whole map of Yokairo,there were so many X's on it but one circle meaning that he found out where the power of Yin and Yang dwells within Yokairo.There were ancient catacombs southwest of the Arbiters grounds and that was where that Man was going.MinLin had a plan to slow down his progress and that was to hide everyone in a sand storm while they go to the hidden catacombs.MinLin put her hands together before conjuring a sandstorm as tall as the Terra Plateau,not long after it began to storm towards the location of the underground catacombs.

"Are you sure this won't make me sick at the end?"Jordan asked.

"It won't I'm using a different Aero current to keep us upright."MinLin said.

"Father,as an Arbiter I will ensure that you can never harm me,my family or anyone else ever again,I know you are truly a part of the Corrupt."Kohrae said in his consciousness.
