Ch. 1: What?!

I was listening to music and cleaning my room then my mom comes and turns off my favorite song

"Hey!" I said kinda mad.

"Lindsay we need to talk." My mom said seriously.

"About?" I said worried.

"Come on" She making me follow her.

We went to the living room and saw my brother Aiden and my sister Amanda sitting down on the couch so I sit next to Amanda.

"What's going on?" I was getting scared.

We usually never do this. Like family meet or something.

"Me and your dad have bad news..." My mom said.

"What?" Me, Aiden, Amanda said in the same time.

"My job is making me move to Canada...We're moving in a week.." My dad said.

No no no no no no NO!

"What?!" I said getting up.

"What about school? My childhood? My friends?" I said tearing up.

"Yeah!" Amanda said getting up as well.

My mom and dad look really upset.

"I'm sorry but we have to." My dad said.

I run to my room and lock my door. This can't be happening! I can't leave. This is were I grew up and my friends. I hate being the new student, I mean I never been a new student but I heard it's a pain in the butt! I texted my best friend Tori

To: Tori

Me: Hey..
Tori: Hey girl, what's up?
Me: Um..I have bad news.. :(
Tori: What is it?!
Me: I'm moving to Canada..
Tori: What?!?! Why?!?!
Me: Dad's work
Tori: Nooooooo :( that's so far from here *they live in L.A btw*
Me: I know I'm so upset right now.. we're moving in a week
Tori: A WEEK OMG WE NEED TO HANG OUT THIS WHOLE WEEK!
Me: Yeah will go to Starbucks when we get out of school ♡
Tori: Okay :):
Me: :): well I got to go.. I'll see you tomorrow :( love you ♡

I put my phone on my bed. I'm gonna take a shower. I got my pj's and got in the shower, let the warm water down my body. I always think in the shower. Ugh I just hope this is a good start not a bad start.
