Cyno and Tighnari are at it again.

"Tighnari! How many tickles does it take to make an octopus laugh?" Cyno asks, leaning in towards the furry from across the table. Tighnari blinks.

"I don't know. How many?"

"Ten-tickles!" Cyno grins, proud of the new joke he thought up, "Get it?" Tighnari blinks again.

"What? Is it not funny?"

"I don't really understand it."

"Ten-tickles. Tentacles. Now do you get it?"

"I... Guess...?"

Cyno turns to me instead, "What about you, Kaveh? What do you think? Is it not funny?"

I smile at him, "It's better than some of your other jokes."

Cyno gasps, "How dare you." He pouts, sinking back into his chair to sulk.

Tighnari rolls his half-purple, half-cyan eyes, "It's kind of funny, ok?" He chuckles, reaching out his hand to ruffle Cyno's snow-like hair.

I smirk slightly as I look at the two. To think that I personally witnessed their relationship grow... And they claim they're not dating? I muse to myself.

I met Tighnari and Cyno around when I first came to this school 3 years ago. They had been in the Celestial Teyvat Academy - short for CTA - for almost their entire life. Not to mention they're roommates. Being in a boarding school, they rarely have chances to see their parents. With no adults to rely on, they grew inseparable, being together almost all the time. It's been the same way throughout the past years I've known them. It pains me sometimes to see the obvious crush Tighnari has on Cyno, though the scarlet-eyed boy seems entirely oblivious to it.

I would never be that oblivious if someone had a crush on me. I snort to myself. Not like anyone is actually going to have a crush on me. No one ever does. I've only ever known one person who shared the same feelings as me...

"Nariiiiii!" A cheerful voice shouts near my ears. I wince, looking up to see who I knew was already going to be there.

Tighnari turns his attention to her as well, "Collei! You made it!"

Collei is 2 years younger than Tighnari, making her 14 this year. Cyno told me that Collei had extremely abusive parents and they were arrested. Tighnari's parents adopted Collei when she was 9. Due to her trauma, the olive-haired girl was homeschooled until she was 12, enrolling in CTA as well. Tighnari is quite the protective one towards Collei. He never lets anyone go as far as even having the thought about hurting her.

"So, Lei, how was your study session with Amber?" Cyno asks, sipping a juice box.

Collei grins, "It was super fun! Amber was so nice, and so patient, and she helped me-" She goes on.

Amber, a girl with bunny ears (they're fake. Amber only wears them for decoration because she really likes bunnies), belonging to the house of Mondstadt. Collei looks up to her as a hero. Which is reasonable, considering that Amber was the one who helped Collei through many difficult periods of her life, not to mention she was the one who reported Collei's parents in the first place.

Due to neglectance and not getting properly taken care of at a young age, Collei developed an incredibly sickly body. Because of this, she missed many educations in her life, yet still managing to stay tops in her class by Tighnari and Amber often tutoring her. To Collei, Amber is like this sister she never had.
