Chapter 16

"Move Violet!!' Andarna screams in my head again while im still staring at the stilled cadetes infront of me. They are not moving...

"What did you do Andarna..." I ask. "please get away Violet, I cant hold it in anymore." Andarna pleads in my head with a shaky voice. She is in pain.

I get away from my position as fast as possible and head towards the door. I was about to get out when i bump with someone.

I look to see it's Xaden standing over there looking at me with a terrified expression. "Xaden!" I say out aloud and hold his arms tightly.

The cadets starts to move again and they look at the place they put me in just awhile, surprised. All of them turn towards the door and their eyes widen when they see Xaden.

"Wing leader I-" the red hair girl speaks up at first but gets cut off by Xaden, "Enough. Not a single word from your mouth Oren." Xaden says.

"That was the only way for us to satisfy the mightiest dragon." Oren says and others nod. "Satisfy?! I I was about to human fry the Shit out of them." Tairn says out aloud in my head.

"I said not a single word Oren. Did you not hear me the first time?" Xaden says with rage in his voice.
"Yes... Wing leader..." Oren says with her head down.

Bodhi, the guy I saw with Xaden at the Parapet come up behind us with Liam and another guy. "Violet! Are you alright?! Are you hurt!?" Liam asks me with concern in his eyes.

I shake my head and still trembling beside Xaden who is still holding my hands firmly. "Take them to the head office. You know what to do." Xaden asks looking at Liam and the other guy.

Liam nods and he along with the other guy takes them away. Xaden looks at me and his search me for any injury. Slowly his eyes land on my injured ribs which is still bleeding.

"Oh my god, Violet." Xaden says with a gasp and without another word he picks me up and carries me to the nearest healer's chamber.

The bleeding and the adrenaline rush is causing me to slowly lose my consciousness. My eyelids are getting heavy and I wanna fall into a deep slumber.

"Stay with me Violet!" Xaden says out aloud breaking me from my trance. I just nod my head at him. Right now I'm not getting any energy to speak or form words.

I feel so weak.... We evantually reach there and he puts me down on the bed. There is healer standby 24 hours. She rushes to me, "what happened to her?" The healer asks Xaden.

"Don't ask questions. Heal her. Right. Now." Xaden orders her in a firm tone. "Yes, wing leader." the healer says and turns to me.

"your gonna be alright, dont worry. Just go to sleep." she says to me in a hushed tone. Her voice is so soothing that i can pass out in a moment just by hearing it.

maybe their healing power comes with a voice like that of a siren. Soft but deadly. Soothing but murderous incase if we're going for war.

My eyelids starts to get heavy while she keeps telling me to go to sleep, hypnotising me. I can feel a weird tingling sensation on my ribs. It's her magic working on it.

And slowly my eyelids shut and I fall into a deep sleep.

I can hear muffled voices beside me. The voice is so familiar. I think it's Xaden. The thought of Xaden being somewhere near me immediately relieves me.

My eyelids slowly starts to open and my vision is still blurry. Slowly all my memories starts to hit me one after another.

The attack at night. Me channeling Andarna's power to stop time. Xaden taking me to the healer. The worry in his eyes maybe for his life or my life. I don't know...

My vision starts to clear and I can see Xaden talking to the healer about something. He slowly turns to me like he just felt me waking up. Like he can feel everything I'm feeling. He rushes towards my side.

"Violet! Are you alright?! Do you feel any pain?!" Xaden asks with absolute worry for me in his tone.

" i guess..." i tell him and try to sit, but my body is still too wake and i fall back.

"Ugh." i say. "You cant sit yet." Xaden ensures me.And suddenly the pain comes flooding back, it starts to hurt there on my ribs.

"Ow!" I say out aloud. "Its gonna be alright just dont move." Xaden assures me putting his hands on my shoulder.

"Is Andarna okay?" I ask him. "Dont worry about Andarna right now silver one. She is fine. She is just taking rest as of now." Tairn says in my head and immediate sensation of relief goes through me.

"There you have your answer." Xaden tells me. "But how did you hear him?!" I ask surprised.

"Since Tairn and Sgaeyl are connected it connects me you, Tairn and Sgaeyl all together. You can hear Sgaeyl when she talks too." Xaden replies to me.

"Woah, I didnt know that." I tell him. "Why is Andarna resting. And how did I channel her power? She doesnt have power yet because she is still a feather tail." I ask both Xaden and Tairn.

"I'll explain later, I cant tell anything now here, so keep your voice down violet." Xaden whispers to me.

I look at him and nod. "Get some rest βία. You'll need it." He orders me and leaves shutting the door.

The sound of the door echoes in the empty room leaving me with thousands of questions.
