Before I can talk about her feelings, dear reader, before I share her story, let me tell you about her.
She's young. She really is. And yet she's gone through a lot of things. She may not have handled it the best way, but she's still fighting to survive in her world. So, afraid of all the pain and suffering inside herself, she changed it into something else. Into something... magical. Into words.
And she created this. She created poetry so she could shout her feelings without being seen. She created a fictional world in her verses, a world in which she was the main character. She created Written in tears, and she poured into it so much happiness, love and pain that she had to feel again.
She was finally free of her fears, free of her cages, just free.
She's not perfectly fine, yet. Being a teenager is always hard. But she's surviving. That must be something.
She's not perfectly fine, yet. But she'll get there. I know she will. I believe in her.
She's me, after all.
