it was saturday morning and i was not looking forward to my first tutor session with lucifer hemmings. i woke up at 8:30, as usual. i always wake up early because i try not to waste my life away sleeping. besides, i have to work. i work at a local flower shop where all the other little shops are, it was like a small little outside outlet not so far from our neighborhood. except, instead of high-end fashion designer stores, we have little coffee shops and such.
i got ready, doing my normal makeup and hair routine and picked out a simple outfit. i just threw on a super soft, plain white shirt with lace detailing in the back and some light washed jeans, and to finish it off with some light brown suede boots with a low heel. simple.
i went downstairs to get something to eat and decided that the girls are old enough to make their own breakfast and i didn't have time anyways to even bother about making some eggs or pancakes for them. i just made some coffee and put it in my coffee mug and grabbed a granola bar. i texted ashton irwin to see where he was at, we work together at the flower shop and usually give each other rides; today was his turn. his mom owns the little store and it's actually funny to see a guy play with beautiful flowers. occasionally, he lets me put them in his hair. it makes him giggle and laugh and everyone loves his famous laugh.
To Ashina Irwina;
where you at?
From Ashina Irwina;
almost there g.
i walked outside and a small little breeze hit me. it felt nice due to the humid air spring brought. the sun was out and shining but i knew it would start raining in a couple of hours, or minutes. this weather was always so bipolar. i took a bite out of the honey flavored granola bar as i waited and took a few sips of my coffee every now and then.
about 2 minutes passed by and the guy with a brown mop on his head pulled up into my drive way. i waved at him and stuffed the granola bar wrapper into my purse. i walked to his car and sat in the passenger's seat.
"goodmorning." he giggled.
i smiled brightly, "morning." i replied while ruffling his hair with my hand. ashton does that to everyone and i'm the only who does it back. he's like a big brother, and he his the oldest. he's the only one who graduated already. we're all almost out of school, except mal, she's a junior.
the drive was nice and silent when it first started.
"so i heard about the tutor session you have today with luke." ashton said. i nodded my head silently, looking out the window; distracted by my thoughts. "anna?" ashton said and nudged me with his elbow.
"mhm?" i hummed in response.
"what's up with you today? is this whole luke thing bugging you out?" ashton knows about the whole situation with luke. he practically almost slammed luke's face into the ground when he saw me crying into kimberly's shoulder when he came over one night. ashton is the most protective person over us.
i shrugged, "i'm okay. i just don't know what to expect. how'd you even figure out anyways?"
he paused for a second, "luke told me."
my mouth formed an 'O' shape, that's right i forgot. him and luke are close friends. well, after the fight that they had about me. ashton and michael were the only people luke talked to months after our argument. but why did luke have to tell ashton? why was i necessary in any conversation they were having? does luke think about me? why am i even worrying? i shook my head and continued staring out the window.
after a few more comfortable silences passed by i spoke softly, "did luke say anything about me?"
ashton smirked, "why? interested again?"
