luke and anna were still walking hand in hand and in a comfortable silence. enjoying the fresh air and listening to the kids play in the park. everything felt nice and good vibes were radiated everywhere.

suddenly, anna started getting really aggravated all of a sudden and pulled her hand back. she huffed and folded her arms and started walking faster than he was.

he looked at her confusingly as she kept walking in front of him, he then proceeded to run to catch up with her, which didn't take long because of his super long legs.

"hey, hey, hey," he said as he grabbed her arm and pulled her back to face him.

"what do you want?" she snapped.

he raised his hands up on in defense, "woah, whats wrong?" his face was unreadable, as always. she didn't know whether he was concerned or annoyed, but she didn't focus on it too much.

"luke, i'm bored," anna deadpanned with an obvious bored expression on her face. she got aggravated with the fact they weren't doing anything at all. she wasn't in the mood for a sappy, sunny day walk. she was in the mood for something exciting, something that would get her adrenaline pumping, something other than skipping the rest of school (this was the first time she's done it, luke just didn't know it).

luke leaned his head back and sighed loudly while rubbing his face with the palm of his hands.

"luke, i want to do something exciting, you know? something that would make my heart beat one hundred times faster, something that would make me feel- i don't know, alive?"

he was a bit taken off guard by her comment, usually anna would be content with walking alone together, she usually liked the calmness and listening to the outside noises. what he needed to understand is that shit changes. but then, he nodded understandingly. he feels that way all the time, that's why he's got this whole "bad boy" attitude. he does rebellious things all the time to make himself feel "alive".

"just give me a second to think, anna." he said. he was thinking of things they could do since she was suddenly up for something exhilarating.

after a minute or so of anna rolling her eyes at how long he was taking, his face had a devilish smirk plastered over it and he grabbed her hand harshly and pulled her along as he ran. she shrieked at the sudden movement but kept going along with it.

they ran together for about 5 blocks or so, until they ended up in front of Wal-Mart.

anna's face scrunched up in confusion, "what are we doing here?"

he smiled cheekily and held his hands out, "this. this is where all the fun will happen."

"in a store full of groceries and miscellaneous items?"

"that is correct, my friend."

anna laughed and shook her head, "what do you have up your sleeves, lucas?" she let 'lucas' slip out. knowing that it would bother him.

his smile instantly dropped and went into a scowl, "god. for fucks sake man, that's not my name!" luke yelled and started walking into the store without her.

she smirked to herself while giggling and ran up to him. he didn't even look down at her and kept walking straight, super fast. it was hard enough to keep up with him when they walk at a normal pace but now he was speed-walking. she was wondering what the hell he was doing and kept trying to be near him. luke smirked to himself when he saw her out of the corner of his eyes trying to keep up with him.

"ugh, luke! slow down, you giant," she called out behind him. now she was jogging when he was just simply walking faster.

his eyes flickered to her once in awhile and he sped up every time she almost was right next to him. he slipped up and smiled and she caught him smiling and figured out this was just a joke and groaned loudly. but she smiled as well and played along.
