SONG OF THE CHAPTER: Diamonds - Rihanna

Hand in hand, they slowly walked into the venue, shocked at the sight.

The disco ball was reflecting off everyone in the room making them shine. Every person was slowly dancing under the glass roof, the moon glistening through.

Natasha's eyes had slightly watered at the beauty of the sight.

"This is... unbelievable," the blonde gasped, still looking around.

"I know," y/n did the same.

"Let's dance," Nat smirked.

"Lead the way, my love," Y/n smirked back.

Their arms around each other they swayed to the music, staring deeply into each other's eyes.

Following the movement of others, they paraded around the room, occasionally spinning. Their dresses swayed effortlessly.

They continued to dance for half an hour until they began to get slightly tired.

"You're so beautiful," y/n whispered to Nat.

Nat smirked and spun Y/n, then leaned her over her other arm. Gently stroking the girl's jawline she pulled her closer.

Y/n closed the gap and kissed her seamlessly.

Nat linked her hand with Y/n's and took her to the venue's bathroom. Quickly checking to see if it was empty, she kissed the other girl more passionately, biting Y/n's lip.

Stygian tangled her hands in the blonde's hair, pulling her closer towards her. Natasha had one hand on the girl's jawline and another on her hip, keeping her in place, resting against her.

She started to kiss down Y/n's neck further and further, biting slightly each time, enough to earn a noise from the girl and to create a mark.

The redhead's hands started to roam lower and lower down the girl's body, smirking into the kiss.

Finally, Natasha broke the moment and spoke up, "I think we should go home, I'm tired and it's late. Is that alright?"

"Of course it is, you don't have to ask," Y/n laughed and took Nat by the hand as they walked out together.

It was a relatively smooth drive home, Natasha watched the streetlights as they flashed by and Y/n hummed softly.

When they reached the compound most of the Avengers were gathered in the living room watching TV so Nat and Y/n joined them.

Sat closely next to each other in the corner of the couch they held hands and leaned against each other as they watched whatever was on the TV.

Whatever it was, was making Nat fidget with Y/n's rings. The redhead had noticed but didn't want to make a big deal out of it in front of the group. She put her arm around her and started drawing shapes on her skin.

A while later some of the other Avengers started to clear off and Nat had fallen asleep against Y/n. She waited for the rest of them to leave to secretly get up. Then, putting her arm under her legs and head, she lifted the girl with ease. Nat's head was resting in the crook of Y/n's neck as she lightly snored.

When she reached their bedroom she gently placed Nat down and put her hair behind her ears.

"I love you" Stygian whispered.

She quickly got changed and joined her in bed pulling over the covers and wrapping her arms around her.

"Goodnight my love"

Grunts and whimpers came from Nat as she stirred in her sleep. She was having another nightmare. Her breathing was getting heavier as Stygian had started to wake up.

"Nat? Hey, you're alright." She said trying to gently shake her awake. When it worked Natasha was panting as she tried to regain her breath.

Y/n interlocked her fingers with Nat's.

"You're safe. You're okay. Deep breaths," she whispered.

She pulled the blonde's legs over hers so the girl could rest her head on her shoulder. Y/n played with her hair as she spoke to Nat.

She stroked her face and whispered to her every so often.

"I'm right here, you're safe, breathe. You're going to be okay."

Natasha silently cried into Y/n's shoulder, gripping her tightly and trying to ground herself.
