Tailing Behind: Off Camera

Ivan smiled, even with the blood on his face and his imperfect man eating grin, Luka couldn't help but still find him attractive. He looked good in all black with unnoticeable stains and a knife in his hand, a corpse behind his back as he looked at Luka as if he was the only one in his world.

Everyone froze at the scene as Ivan's heavy shoes scraped the cemented floor as he went closer to Luka who only had a poker face, unmoving as Ivan went closer and closer.

“You,”

Ivan said, his voice hoarse and breathy as his eyes trembled so much that Luka felt intrigued at how mad Ivan just became. For him.

“Make me so..”

A warm hand caressed Luka's chin before Ivan pulled him closer, staining Luka's white blouse with the still not dried blood from the unfortunate victim.

“Insane..”

Ivan's voice cracked at the last word as Luka's breath hitched, his eyes slightly widening but not because of shock, rather, he just stopped himself on time with forming a much more psychopathic expression than Ivan.

“...And cut!”

The director shouted as everyone clapped at the successful scene. Some whistled while some cheered their name as attendants immediately flocked around them, checking their clothes and faces as they prepared for another scene.

“Only one retake for that one! You guys are on the roll!”

Anovia praised the two even when she's still covered in blood. She was playing the character that still tried to pursue Ivan when Ivan was set on Luka's character.

“You did great as well, keeping up with us.”

Luka said as Anovia only brushed it off. Right, she's the rising star actress that does a lot of one time shots. That's why she was able to catch up so quickly on scenes, Ivan wants to see her act more. To see if he can pick up on any techniques.

“The director said there'll be a possible sequel for the movie, if that happens, would you agree to play another role again?”

Luka asked, making Anovia take a step back a bit as she awkwardly smiled. Ivan snickered at how Luka's charm didn't work as Luka just nudged him with his elbow.

“Oh no no, that'd be a death sentence for the movie.  Though, I'm sure my brother has a chance! I'm not saying to let him pass the audition but, I'll be glad to know they'll have auditions for roles.”

“They will, how then can we recruit more talents?”

Anovia only laughed at Luka's comment as Ivan mindlessly scrolled through his messages. Specifically his messages with Till, it seemed that the senior is busy..

Ivan's eyes dimmed a little as the two started to go elsewhere while talking about their future collaborative works together as Ivan started to type something into the space.

“Just finished shooting, what are you doing?"

No, that sounds too desperate..

"Hi, how are you?”

What is he? A stranger?

"It's lunchtime already, have you eaten?”

What if Till was busy as well and couldn't eat?

“Are you busy today?"

Ivan sighed as he just updated Till about his shooting, he really didn't like acting for Tailing Behind but their agency was set on Luka and Ivan acting together to bring their co-agency to stardom with the star duo.

Unfortunately the movie was a romantic one, with them being each other's love interest nonetheless. It's not that Ivan doesn't like that thought of being with a male co-actor but it's because it's Luka who's the said male co-actor. The director had to ask many times if they were comfortable with any scenes because of one mistake and it could spiral into a potential scandal.

Especially since Hyuna and Luka had just broken up, with Hyuna already writing one song dedicated to it for a new segway of an era. While Luka? He's literally making out with Ivan on screen. If that's anything, Ivan wouldn't have minded if he didn't know Till would potentially be watching the movie.

Then suddenly a ding was heard from his phone. It was pretty loud so some people turned their heads but he didn't mind, expecting it was likely Sua asking if he's already had her lunch but he was a bit shocked that it was Till.

“Make sure you still rest after shooting."

Ivan could have died right there and he'd be happy about it. Typing a quick reply, Luka and Anovia already came back, with Luka already finished with his makeup and all while Ivan was still in his bloodstained clothes.

“You gotta change, we're shooting the tied up scene now, have you even read your script?"

Luka sounded a bit annoyed with how engrossed Ivan was on his phone but he quickly grinned when he realized who he was texting. The wolf whistled, which caught everyone's attention.

“Is loverboy texting his darling?"

Luka asked in a low but playful tone,even if the blood was fake, he really looked and sounded crazed. Luka pulled off these types of roles so much because off camera he kept the act on.

Ivan only rolled his eyes as he went to his changing room, ignoring Luka's taunts as he made quick work of his costume. Suddenly, Till texted again.

“I had lunch late. What about you?"

Ivan almost typed in that he hadn't eaten but that would make Till worry, at the same time, he didn't want to lie to Till.

“After this one scene, I can eat."

He hopes that Till would understand that. Considering how Till had just recently started acting for Alien Stage, while Ivan has been acting for years as an idol.

“Ivan, are you doing something else in there?"

Luka shouted through the door as Ivan punched it, causing Luka to laugh loudly as Ivan almost ripped his own outfit apart. It didn't take long for Ivan to come out of his dressing room with a white button-up that had its 4 buttons unbuttoned, revealing his chest as his hair was disheveled.

“If he was here I would have thought you-"

“I'm going to kill you, Luka."
