Khyra and I are here on my room. This is our usual bonding when out of work, listening to music and ofcourse, food tripping. She's currently frying some potatoes with the background music BLEEDING LOVE when she suddenly speak..

"Hindi ka ba magkkwento?" she asked.

"About what?" kunot noo kong tanong.

"About that Chinito boy.. And your date." she gave me a teasing smile.

"What? It's not even a date."

"Bakit? What happen?"

She served the fries and took her seat. I told her the story.

Flashback..

"Gabby.. Let me help you."

I look at him but didn't say anything.

"Let me take care of you."

I don't know what to say. I mean, what should I supposed to answer to that?

"You're kidding right?" that's the safest thing to say.

"No.. I just.. Wanted to help."

"But why would you do that? Hindi mo pa ko ganong kilala, at ganon din ako sayo. Ano yun, charity works?"

"No Gabby.. It's just that.."

"WHAT?" I can't help myself. Naiirita na ko sa paligoy ligoy nya.

"I.. I know you Selena." he confess.

"You what?" I wanted to know if I heard it right.

"I know you."

My brow furrows.

"How?"

"E kase.. Ano.. Ang totoo kase.."

Nakatingin lang ako sa kanya. Hinihintay ang susunod nyang sasabihin.

"I've met you're sister abroad. Then lagi ka nya nakkwento sakin." he started. "Nung nalaman nyang nakauwi na ko dito sa Pinas, she asked me a favor."

"What is it?"

"Gusto nyang bantayan kita, habang wala pa sya. Lagi kitang sinusundan. Yung sa bar, nakialam na ko kase baka mapahamak ka."

"Ano? All this time, planado lahat ng to? Don't you think it's unfair?"

Naiinis ako. Bakit kailangan pang gawin ni Ate yun? Ininvade nya ang privacy ko. This is so UNFAIR!

"Binayaran ka ba nya? Alam mo bang pwede kitang idemanda for stalking me."

"NO. Hindi nya ko binayaran. Look. Wag mo sanang masamain yung ginawa ng ate mo. Gusto ka lang nyang tulungan."

"Edi gusto mo sguro sya kaya ka pumayag sa gusto nya."

"Matalik kong kaibigan ang ate mo. Gusto ko lang makatulong, hindi lang sa kanya kundi pati na din sayo."

"O tapos? Pwede na ba ko umalis? Salamat na lang pero hindi ko kailangan ng tulong mo."

I turned to leave but he immediately grab my arm.

"Hindi ba talaga tayo pwedeng maging magkaibigan?"

Tinanggal ko yung pagkakahawak nya sa braso ko.

"Akala ko din pwede kitang maging kaibigan." sabi ko habang nakatalikod saka naglakad palayo.
