"She even noticed how you got jealous that day..." Jeongguk chuckles, as he finishes clearing all the suspicions of him dating Chaeyoung to Taehyung.
"She did?" Taehyung giggles a little in his arms. They both were sitting on his bed, more like half cuddling together.
"Yeah... She was sure that you liked me... I cannot believe that I was that oblivios to notice that you were so jealous..."
"Well I couldn't help it... I was already tired concealing my emotions for so long..." Taehyung pouts. Although the pout was adorable, but there was hint of sadness in his eyes that Jeongguk notices.
"I am sorry Tae... I wish I realized my feelings earlier... you wouldn't have had to see me with someone else..." I say.
"Please don't say sorry Jeongguk... I didn't even think that this moment would ever come when you would say you like me back... I still feel like it's a dream you know, I am that happy" Taehyung says, leaning more into Jeongguk's arms. It felt like his safe place now... in fact Jeongguk's whole presence beside him made him feel like he was in heaven...
"It's my responsibility to make each one of your dreams come true now Tae... I will do anything to keep this smile on your face never go away..." Jeongguk whispers nuzzling their noses together as Taehyung giggles. They both look into each other's eyes and connect their lips once again, the smile not leaving at all...
Jeongguk closes his eyes. He never knew a feeling like this even existed... It was magical. He just wanted to be close to Taehyung in ever way possible out there. He wanted to see the smile on his face and keep hearing those giggles again and again. It was like a drug, he was now addicted to.
"Tae dear! Dinner's ready! Come and eat then I have to give you medicines!" Mrs. Kim's voice comes upstairs and they both pull back.
A sad smile forms on Taehyung's face when the realization hits him. He was so into the present that he forgot that the possibilities of something terrible happening in future was still looming over his head like a sword...
Jeongguk mirrors his expression then hugs him caressing his back without saying a word as if trying to convey that he was there. No matter what... He was there.
"Guess I should go now... before your mom comes and kicks me out" Jeongguk chuckles trying to lighten up the mood. And it worked as Taehyung also laughs.
"No she won't... She would rather tell you to stay for dinner" He says.
"Oh really? So should I stay?" Jeongguk teases.
"But I don't have any excuses to justify why there's a bunny in my bed all of a sudden..." Taehyung bites his lips, pulling back a little to look at Jeongguk with narrowed eyes.
"Hmm that's reasonable... I pulled of a really romeo like stunt. Didn't I?"
"Yes you did... come like this everytime" Taehyung laughs.
