"So Jeongguk... I have heard about you from Taehyung's mom... We couldn't talk that day in the hospital but thank you for bringing Tae there..." Daesung smiles. They; Taehyung's family and Jeongguk, were sat on the dinner table.
"It's ok Mr. Kim... I am glad I can meet you now..." Jeongguk says.
"And I am glad you stayed for dinner dear. You must miss having dinner with your family..." Taehyung's mom, Soyeon, says.
"Yeah I do... although I know how to cook but I miss mom's cooking sometimes..."
"Aww... you may come here anytime you miss your mom's food. You are just as dear as Taehyung and Jimin are to me..."
"Jeongguk doesn't live with his parents?" Daesung furrows his eyebrows as he takes a bite from his food.
"No dad... his parents live in Australia... and his father is a known businessesman but he wanted to study music so he came back to Seoul" Taehyung says.
"Oh... what business does your father run Jeongguk-ah?"
"He runs a company that manufactures music instruments Mr. Kim..."
"That's an interesting business. It surely must have ignited your interest in music" Daesung smiles.
"Yes Mr. Kim" Jeongguk smiles back.
Silence falls on the table, as Taehyung clears his throat. The conversation was too formal for God's sake. How is Jeongguk gonna ask what he wants to to his parents?
"What happened Tae? Why did you stop eating?" His mom asks.
"Uh... mom... actually we both wanted to... tell you something..." Taehyung says looking at Jeongguk, gulping a little afterwards. He was kind of nervous.
Because it's not everyday you tell your parents that you have a boyfriend. First boyfriend to be precise.
"What is it?" His dad says as Jeongguk takes his hand under the table.
"Mr. Kim... I like Taehyung..." . . .
Soyeon coughs, and Taehyung immediately passes her water.
"W-what?"
"Yes Mrs. Kim... I like Taehyung... more than as a friend. And... I have already confessed my feelings to him..." Jeongguk says again, looking at Taehyung with a smile that sparkled his eyes.
"Does Taehyung like you back Jeongguk?" This time Daesung says, taking a deep breathe.
"Yes I do dad... I like Jeongguk..." Taehyung says looking down and licking his lips.
"Then I have no problem with both you dating... it's your life and feelings... and you are old enough to find a partner..." Daesung smiles, making a smile of relief appear on the couple's faces.
