"I love you Kim Taehyung" I look at him and say, expecting a smile to form on his face.
But it didn't.
Instead his eyes cast down and he stares at his lap as if he was deep in thoughts. His grip on my hand also loosens a bit.
And that single action felt like he was drifting away from me like in that one haunting nightmare I had. Frowning, I take his hand in mine again, desperate to keep him as close as possible...
"I know you might have thought it's all so sudden Taebear and I understand if you don't feel the same... I also don't expect you to give a response to me just yet... I just wanted to express my feelings for you because we don't know in future—" My words falter as he meets my eyes with a hesitant gaze, swallowing hard.
"All I am saying is you don't have to think about it a lot... we can stay like we have been for the past one month..."
I caress his cheeks and he blinks his eyes, exhaling but still no words escape his lips.
"Nothing's gonna change..." I whisper and he bites his lips and nods. Without hesitation, I press my lips to his and close my eyes when I feel him kiss me back slowly, his hands making a grip on my hoodie.
Even though I have explained my heart a thousand times and prepared it for a moment like this, but still when I didn't hear those words back from Taehyung's mouth, my heart forgets all those explanations and I can't help but feel the fear of losing Taehyung... And a desperate need to keep him close to me fills in me.
"Just stay with me..." I say in between the kiss, pulling him closer. Even if Taehyung doesn't feel the same, ever... still I will keep holding onto him. I cannot let him go...
I am satisfied with what we have and I can live with it for the rest of my life. I just need him by my side forever...
