It was December 25th, and like always the Yule Ball approached, the excitement among the students at Hogwarts reached a fever pitch. The Great Hall was transformed into a breathtaking winter wonderland, adorned with shimmering silver decorations and enchanted ice sculptures. The air was filled with anticipation and nervous energy.

I had spent so much time meticulously planning my outfit this year, and consulting with Val for advice. Finally, the day had come, and I couldn't wait to see how everyone would unfold.

As the evening approached, I found myself in the slytherin common room, surrounded by my friends, Valerie and pansy. We were all buzzing with excitement, discussing our expectations for the evening. And I couldn't help but feel a pang of nervousness in my stomach.

My date this year was Theodore, he's a nice guy and asked me to be his date a few weeks ago. Me and Theodore, has allways gotten along well. From day one. Even tho we aren't super close, we still know each others and show each others respect.

Valerie was ofcourse going with Draco. How I know that is because that's the only thing shes been talking about for the past weeks. Shes been talking about how they matches with their outfits, that he asked her, and everything in between.

I was standing in my dorm, watching my dress that were laying on my bed. A silk dress, with a soft and ethereal shade of green. The dress has a sweetheart neckline, accentuating the wearer's collarbones and framing their face with a touch of femininity.

The skirt of the dress cascades down in layers, creating a dreamy and ethereal effect. Each layer is sheer and lightweight, allowing the fabric to float and dance with every movement. The hemline gently brushes the floor, creating an elegant and graceful trail behind the wearer. The silky fabric, creating a mesmerizing effect that adds a touch of enchantment to the dress.

I putted the dress on and went and looked at myself in the mirror. This is the first time in years that I actually liked how a dress fits me. And I have to admit that I do look good in it.

I paired the dress with delicate black heels that add a subtle touch of elegance. My hair is elegantly styled, cascading in loose waves down my shoulders. A delicate necklace with a single pendant adorns my neck, adding a touch of sparkle and sophistication.

The Great Hall doors swung open, and the students filed into the magical winter wonderland. The walls were adorned with floating candles and enchanted snowflakes, casting a soft and ethereal glow throughout the room. Theodore came up to me.

"You look beautiful Lavender"

"Thank you" A small smile was formed on my face, as he grabbed my waist before we walked down the stairs. The room was alive with music and laughter as the students mingled and danced. I couldn't help but be in awe of the grandeur of it all.

As the night progressed, I found myself swept up in the enchantment of the evening. I watched as couples twirled gracefully on the dance floor, their robes billowing behind them. The music filled the air, and I couldn't resist the urge to join in. I took a deep breath, pushed aside my nerves, and asked Theodore to dance.

Theodore's face lit up with a smile, and he eagerly accepted my invitation. We joined the other couples on the dance floor, swaying and twirling in perfect harmony. I couldn't help but feel a surge of confidence as I danced with Theodore, and i realized that the Yule Ball was more than just a chance to dress up and have fun—it was an opportunity to let go of inhibitions and create lasting memories.

Theodore has always been popular by girls, and I don't even wanna know how many girls that's been in his dorm the last year. He's good looking, and he is polite. Everything a girl wants.
