Ch. 12 A strange dream

It was nighttime at the Beach House in Beach City. Diana was sleeping in her bedroom. She started moving in her sleep, and her facial expression looked uncomfortable. Her hands tightly grasped the bedsheets, and she started breathing heavily.

" Diana!" Voices echoed, causing Diana to open her eyes and look at her surroundings. She saw that she was at the beach in Beach City. However, it was in ruins as though a battle had occurred.

" This dream again?" Diana whispered, confused and scared.

" Where is she!" A furious yet distant, feminine voice shouted, urgency grabbing Diana's attention.

" We are not letting you take her!" A familiar feminine voice responded, sounding stern.

" Pearl?" Diana turned to the sound of the voices but couldn't see since smoke surrounded her.

" My calculations say that Pink Diamond is residing on this planet," A third feminine voice says.

" Pink Diamond?" Diana whispered, walking through the smoke and seeing several shadowy figures, one taller than the other.

" How dare you lowlives take her captive! She's your Queen!" The first feminine voice shouted, and the ground started to shake.

Diana stopped walking when she saw the tall shadowy figure jump. She looked up, seeing the figure appear above the smoke.

Diana's eyes blinked, and she saw a tall, muscular woman with long, thick, beige-white flowing hair that covered her face. The woman had tangerine skin with reddish-orange markings. She wore a sleeveless bodysuit with a dark mahogany V-neck collar and a yellow diamond in the center. The bodysuit's torso was maroon, and the legs were dark mahogany. She wore red boots with dark red toe caps.

Diana's gem glowed at the sight of the other woman. She froze when the other woman looked in her direction and saw amber-colored eyes intently staring at her.

Diana gasped, coming back to reality. She sat up and looked at her surroundings, seeing she was in her bedroom back in Beach City. She got up and ran towards the window. She pulled the curtains to the side and saw that the beach looked normal.

" It's just a dream," Diana mutters. " I need to talk to someone about this," she whispers.

Diana saw that it was still nighttime, which let her know that the others must be asleep.

" I shouldn't wake them up," She shakes her head. " But I do have an enchanted mirror that can keep me company and help me relax." She walks towards the vanity station and grabs the hand mirror she found at the Lunar Sea Spire.

" Hello?" Diana called out.

She saw her reflection wave, but the reflection's expression looked worried.

" What's wrong? What's wrong?" The reflection asked.

" I couldn't sleep. I had this strange dream," Diana says.

" Dream? Dream?" The reflection tilted its head.

" Yeah. I keep seeing the beach at Beach City in ruins," Diana walks back and forth. " I also heard various voices, and one talked about Pink Diamond. Who is Pink Diamond?" She asked.

The reflection transformed into a beautiful woman with pale pink hair, deep pink eyes, and bubblegum pink skin. The woman's hairstyle is voluminous, with a fluffy bob around her face. She wore a cerise half-skirted leotard that displayed her midriff and gem in a pentagon-shaped opening. She had pink-and-white puffy sleeves and wore elbow-length cerise gloves. Her half-skirt was also pink-and-white atop cerise un-paned breeches with white pantyhose. Her shoes were pink ballet slippers with floating white pom poms on top. Her outfit resembled a ballet dancer.
