The Gilded Demise

Chapter 8

The surviving members of the massacre from the night before awoken inside of a metal room. The room was reminiscent of a hospital room but has and atlesian feel to it. The surviving four of the once thirty students and teachers stepped off the medical bed and slowly walked towards the door.

However before they opened the door, a colossal shockwave forced them to the floor. The floor began to shake violently as deafening high pitched roars and sounds came from outside. The roof collapsed upon one poor soul freeing him from the terror about to unfold.

"Izuku!" Yelled out a distraught Mina Ashido. He attempted to rescue him but it was no use as blood poured from his crushed corpse. Mina was forcefully dragged away from Izuku Midoriya's body as the very floor itself began to cave in.

Golden lighting, red and atomic blue beams, missiles, and a frozen beam tore apart the facility.

"This is General Ironwood of the Atlesian Military. The compound is under attack by the Titans, retreat to the lower levels for protection against," he was brutally cut off as another massive explosion killed the General.

Mina Ashido, Winter Schnee, and Reiko Yanagi all took several steps back as the floor continued to collapse. However, Reiko Yanagi looked over the edge only to see a demonic and horrific sight.

The very earth around them was brutally torn apart, the very mountain they're on is collapsing in on its self, fire spreading across the forested island, and enormous creatures several hundred feet tall attacking the final compound of humanity.

"Dear god.." she said as she tried to back away but the ground below her began to collapse. Winter Schnee ran to her aid and managed to grab her arm as the ground fully collapsed. Reiko could be heard crying as she was pulled up to solid ground.

Winter looked up to see billowing smoke and pillars of hatred filled flames. Surrounding the island however, was an enormous hurricane rotating with rage and golden lighting striking within its towering walls of impenetrable wind.

As Reiko was seated on the ground, more and more cracks began to form. Winter being a specialist within the atlesian military, ran towards the metal door in an attempt to free them from this collapsing room. She groaned as the hundred pound door refused to move.

With ever decreasing strength and the encroaching death from hight came, Mina Ashido came to her aid. Mina used her quirk to melt the steel door hinges, with the added weakness to the door Winter Schnee managed to push the door open.

As she helped Mina Ashido and Reiko Yanagi out of the medical room, they came face to face with the pure and utter destruction. Enormous claw marks that tore the room apart, blood, body parts, and organs littered the floor as they continued their journey to the underground sectors.

"Quick! Just a few more levels then we're safe," winter said to the younger girls who were already straining. After a few more minutes of running and avoiding the titanic attacks the titans unleash upon the compound, Mina Ashido collapsed in exhaustion.

"No Mina get up we're almost there!" Winter Schnee yelled out to Mina. Mina tried to stand up but failed, Winter ran towards Mina and helped her stand up. Together the three ran towards the final set of stairs, only to come face to face with the Devil with Three Heads.

Winter froze and dropped Mina in shock and horror, Reiko collapsed in terror, and Mina looked upon with PTSD.

The Devil with Three Heads turned around and looked at the petrified kids and soldier. His golden scaled body was plastered with human blood and the bony fragments of unlucky humans. His glowing red eyes stared down the hero's as he smiled sadistically.

He opened his mouth, but instead of words, out came a deathly thump from his throat. He stopped the thumping within his throat and walked closer and closer to the three heroines.

"Your General Ironwood stood no chance, Winter Schnee," King Ghidorah said to her.

"How do you know my name!" She yelled out as she placed herself in front of the two younger girls.

"How can I not!" He yelled out. "I remember you, I remember." He pointed at Winter Schnee with his long and scaled finer tipped with a huge claw.

"Remembered what?" She questioned the Golden Demise. She placed her dominate hand on her sword. She took several steps back and ordered the two other girls to, "stay back and don't help."

"That's so sad," he said with a fake depressed voice, "how can you not remember me. You took something very close to me under the orders of Nezu and General Ironwood."

He took one final step before sending two bolts of lighting towards the unsuspecting girls behind Winter Schnee. Reiko Yanagi and Mina Ashido were both instantly vaporized by the lighting.

"No!" Winter yelled out as she drew her sword out and began to slice at the Golden Demise.

With quick and sharp precision, Winter Schnee slashed the face and wings of King Ghidorah who strangely stood still. However, before Winter Schnee was able to slash at the face another time, a pristine white bolt of electricity struck Winter Schnee on the side of her head.

She was launched to the other side of the room as more and more white bolts of lighting struck the body of Winter Schnee. In the matter of seconds, her body exploded due to the hight amounts of lighting within her body.

King Ghidorah looked at where the white bolts of lighting came from and nodded without saying a single word. He turned around and flew high into the sky where Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, Mothra, Gigan, Rodan, and other unknown titans surrounded the compound of humanity.

He smiled to himself before spotting a surviving human running through the thick burning forests on the island. Faster than a blink of an eye, he dove down and captured the human who was squirming to escape his grasp. Ignoring his pleas for survival, he flew back up and forced the kid to watch himself become the last human alive.

He watched at the robotic titan named MechaGodzilla send a bright red beam down into the underground sectors. The resulting explosion of the nuclear bomb caused a bright brilliant light to blind the final human as he dropped him from the thousand foot drop.

He watch the final human fall blind only to impact the hard mountainous terrain.

He laughed to himself one last time as he flew high up into the sky only to return as the true Devil with Three Heads.

The golden plated dragon landed upon the collapsing mountain as the Titans surrounding the mountain began to kneel. It stood up straight as dozens of other Titans resurfaced from the surrounding ocean to pledge their allegiance to the Golden King.
