Ania was still standing in the corner while the boys, including Rahul and Aditya, were seated on the couch.
There bade baba left early for other commitments, and it was just them in the house.
As the maid informed them that the breakfast was ready Ania hurriedly made her way towards the dining area, but a voice stopped her in her tracks.
"Stop" a voice came from behind
She closed her eyes, paused, and then turned around to face Rahul.
"Mainy jany ka bola hai?" Rahul's tone was cold, and Ania shook her head meekly.
"Bhaiya mujhe breakfast karne main time lagta hai phir agar main late hui toh apki ghalti" Ania said.
"Nashta bhe karo gi aur time pe bhi pohancho gi, and I'll make sure of it," Rahul replied, and gestured towards the corner again.
Aditya was on his way back from his room, he went to get his watch.
"Bhaiyaa" Ania spotted him and called out softly flashing her most innocent expression.
He glanced at her and approached, smiling warmly.
"Jao table py" he said softly, tousling her hair, and she gave him a quick hug.
"You're the best!" she exclaimed quickly before running towards the dining area.
"Mainy bulaya?" Rahul asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Nahi, but mainy bheja. Any issue?" Aditya inquired, and Rahul shook his head meekly while Ania tried her best not to laugh.
"Jaldi finish karo" Aditya said to Ania as he settled in, and she nodded obediently.
Aarav dropped Ania off at school before heading to college.
"Ania ki bachi, banda call hi kar leta hai" Meher exclaimed loudly, giving her a light smack on the head.
"Oww, mera phone bhaiya kay pass tha," Ania replied, rubbing the spot where she was hit.
"Toh! Unkay phone se call kar deti.Pata hai kitni tension ho rahi the? Teen din ho gaye thay woh toh mujhe baad main bhaiya ne bataya that you're injured," Meher scolded.
"Acha sorry na," Ania replied.
"Chot kaisi hai?" Meher inquired.
"It's fine," Ania replied.
"Anu, parent-teacher meeting hai last month kay exams ki this weekend" Meher dropped the bombshell on Ania.
"What!" Ania exclaimed loudly.
"Haan ma'am ne kal he bataya. Tum absent the na" Meher said, and Ania shot her a look.
"Pata nahi meri kismat itni kyun kharab hai, aik kay bad aik problem," Ania muttered.
"Aray yaar chill kuch nahi hoga tumhare papers toh ache huay the?" Meher reassured.
"Woh toh hamesha he ache hote hain" Ania replied, and Meher laughed.
"Acha chalo class main tension may lo" Meher said, dragging her friend towards their classroom.
"Bhaiya yaar ap kyun nahi samaj rahe? Mujhse nahi ho ga" Avi repeated for the nth time to Aditya, who continued to focus on the file in front of him.
"Bhaiyaa," he whined again.
"Avi, it's your first time, that's why you're nervous. Trust me, aik dafa presentation do ge, your confidence will build up," Aditya said, finally looking at him.
