Aarav descended the stairs and found Ania sitting next to Avi, leaning on his shoulder and scrolling through her phone. As soon as she noticed him, she rolled her eyes and resumed scrolling.
"Ania" Aarav called out.
"Aajao bachon, khana lag gaya" Divya announced as she entered the room.
"Chalo ajao, Avi, Anu, utho" Raghav said rising from his seat.
"Aarav ajao" Avi said and Aarav nodded.
Aditya came downstairs and took his place at the dining table. He wiggled his eyebrows at Aarav, silently inquiring if he had spoken to her. Aarav shook his head slowly.
"Kya chal raha hai?" Rahul asked noticing their exchange.
"Kuch nahi chal raha. Tum batao packing kari?" Aditya asked.
"Nahi bas karoonga" Rahul replied.
"Kab ki flight hai?" Raghav asked.
"Bhaiya kal shaam ki" Rahul replied.
"Kal shaam? Apne to bola tha aik do din" Ania said shocked.
"Haan to ek aaj, do kal" he replied and she rolled her eyes.
"Jhoot bola apne" she mumbled.
"Jhoot kahan bola? Ek din to ho hi gaya na kal tak" he said, and she sadly nodded.
"Avi tum bhi chale jana par zyada din nahi you just joined office abhi ke liye allow kar raha hoon but next time nahi" Raghav said and his tone was firm at the end
"G baba" Avi nodded happily.
"Sab ja rahe hain, main akele kya karungi?" Ania pouted.
"Parhai, papers aa rahe hain na" Rahul replied.
"Woh to kar hi loongi" she said.
"Pata hai mujhe, kitna parhogi" Rahul replied, and she glared at him, which he ignored.
"Parhai ke baad to bore hoongi na?" she said, playing with her food.
"Ania plate finish chahiye mujhe" Aditya said noticing her unfinished plate.
"Kha rahi hoon" she replied with an angry pout.
"Meher ke paas chali jana" Rahul suggested.
"Uski mama nahi allow karengi papers se pehle kuch bhi" she replied.
"Aarav hoga na" Avi said.
"Isse behtar hai main parh he loon" she muttered and continued eating.
"Nisha ne khana khaya Rahul?" Divya asked.
"G, khana karke medicines leke so gayin hain" Rahul replied, and Divya nodded.
Once dinner was over, everyone was heading back to their rooms when Aarav called out to Ania. She pretended not to hear him and went to her room.
Rahul noticed but was confident Aarav would handle it, so he refrained from intervening.
Later, Aarav went to her room and found her working on her assignments.
"Kya ho raha hai?" he asked.
"Parhai" she replied curtly without looking up.
"Sorry, Anu" he said, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"It's okay" she replied, still focused on her notebook.
"Gussa tha, bas stressed out tha to nikal gaya. I'm really sorry" he said.
"Haan, to sabko main hi mili hoon, pure ghar mein gussa karne ke liye. Choti hoon to koi bhi aate jate gussa karega" she snapped, finally looking at him.
