4. Truth or dare (part 2)

"Truth." Jay said decisively.

It was Nya's turn to ask.

Now is the chance. Kai screamed in his mind. If you don't ask it, I'll throw your favourite katana out the window.

"Tell us what Cole whispered to you." Nya insisted.

Kai let all the tension fall and breathed in relief. That's my sister.

"Uh." Jay flushed and laughed awkwardly.

"Spill the beans." Kai pressed.

Jay postured himself better and carefully started to reveal it word by word. "H-he said that there's also something else he'd be interested in tasting..."

Now Nya was fuming, her eyes widening in horror, just like Kai's.

"Go on. Finish it." Cole interposed.

What do you mean finish it? That wasn't all?? Kai's jaw was probably on the floor. This flirty boy is really something, making even Jay – Jay? Like JAY?? – to blush and render speechless. Who's going to pick all Kai's fallen teeth from the floor? Kai wasn't sure if he wanted to hear more. Although he wasn't even sure if the comment meant what Kai thought it meant.

Okay what the hell. What else would it mean?

"And I wonder if you would like a little treat," Jay imitated Cole's words, closing his eyes and biting his lower lip in self-conscious.

"The fuck?" Nya boiled over, staring at Jay furiously. Kai couldn't agree more with her reaction because what the fuck was that?

Zane turned to speak to Cole. "If I'm right, you've taken only one shot. The least. Even I have taken three. It shouldn't have that bad effect." He explained his analysis. 

"You fine Cole?" Lloyd asked.

"Yes," Cole said proudly.

"Though wouldn't say the same about Jay." He added looking at Jay with a grin and flirtatiously raising eyebrows.

Lloyd burst into loud laughter.

"Can we have a short bathroom break now?" Without waiting an answer, Jay stumbled up and backed his way out of the control room.

"I'm coming with you." Nya got up and glared at Jay. "We have a few words to share."

"These two," Lloyd shook his head, holding his laughter.

"Just come up with something Lloyd." Nya pressed impatiently.

Again, many rounds had passed. It was Lloyd's turn to come up with a good dare for Cole. They were finishing because Kai was tired and needed his beauty sleep. The evening was already late, and the coldness of the night had sneaked in. The endless slow rain didn't help prevent the chill from crawling to Kai's bones.

"Let me think."

"Dare him to climb onto the roof." Jay suggested.

"Pff," Cole snorted. "That's way too easy."

Lloyd giggled like a little child. "Okay, this one's quite bad. Cole..."

Lloyd is a one to come up with the weirdest dares. Like, one round he made Pixal eat a meatball between Nya's teeth. It was abominable yet so creative. But this one couldn't be that good, so Kai just concentrated on the drops of water that dripped one by one from the edge of the roof.
