Kenny knocked on Jessica's door, hoping she was in. It was 6PM so she might not be at home.
The door opened a few moments later. "Hey, Ken- oh what are these for?!" Jessica smiled at the roses in his Kenny's hand.
"Can I take you on a date?" Kenny asked with a smile.
"Erm, wait now?! I'm not ready, I don't look good! I haven't even got an outfit or anything!l" Jessica looked visibly panicked.
"You look perfect the way you are. But I can wait, I made reservations for dinner in two hours. Will you be ready by then?"
"Oh, you're so sweet!" Jessica leaned in and kissed Kenny's cheek. "Yeah I should be, come in!"
Kenny went inside and took his place on the sofa. He watched Jessica put the flowers in water before she'd gone off to get ready. He scrolled on his phone to see the group chat being spammed.
