Chapter 8: Cut Once, Shoot Many

Author's Note: I feel dumb for asking this, but I want to ask this before I do anything. Would all of you be ok with me making other stories on other things? I would definitely not abandon this story, of course! I just play a lot of games like Danganronpa or Helltaker and watch a lot of anime like JJK or Mha that my brain is always working with ideas and thoughts to give these things I love praise and affection.

I just want to find something to do for summer and make stories that can be enjoyed. I try not to sound very positive about myself as I don't feel that way usually, but I think that I write in a at least readable way. If I do make something else and it is not good or for you, then you can just ignore it and not be rude about.

I just want to make others smile as I have learned just how important it is to feel happy personally. Always try to love yourself even in your darkest moments, cause knowing that you can be loved is one of the greatest feelings. Anyway, sorry for being so sappy! Give my question some thought, give yourself and others some love, and live your best life, my stars~!

"...We aren't actually going to do this, right?" Anis questioned, already knowing the answer. You all had managed to get through the tunnels with relative ease, and that was because God saved the worst part for last. It was less than ideal, but it was the only way.

"This route should be relatively safe from enemies and leads straight into the power plant." Rapi explained to her, intentionally ignoring the 'sewer' part of the plan.

Anis took a long sigh. "Fine. Let's just get this over with; the faster, the better."

With the collective agreeing the plan, you all began to enter the sewer pipe. First in was Rapi, followed by Neon, then Anis, and you took up the rear. With the guidance of Shifty, you all careful moved through the pipes in a space that was claustrophobic. The smell was absolutely horrific and the thought of how many showers it would take to get the smell off plagued your head.

Of course, you weren't the only one sharing these feelings. "Ugh, it stinks to high heaven! I might actually throw up..." Neon complained to no one in particular.

"If it is getting that bad for you, then turn off your olfactory sensor." Rapi instructed.

"But I feel less like a human when I do that." Neon explained, something that you were touched by. "In my heart, I'm still a human. It's all I have."

Before you could say something, Anis popped into the conversation. "Well, good for you. As for me, I'm turning mine off before I want to throw up."

"Still..." Neon continued. "It is kinda cool to sneak through a drain. From what I have heard, most Commanders prefer to use confrontational and head-on tactics." A statement that got on Anis' nerves.
