I feel like Nikke is a slightly misunderstood game. If you can convince someone to look past the obvious, you can discover a great game to play anywhere. Mostly in private. So I want to honor that love from into my very first story here on Wattpad...
AN: So, I knew exactly what this chapter would look like ahead of time, but this turned out a LOT longer than I thought it would. The reason this chapter wasn't done a week ago was entirely because of my manga addiction, insomnia, and Persona 5. I want to dislike that, but I am having too much fun right now.
To counter that fun, I had even more fun typing this than ever before. So much so that I didn't stop. I didn't really know when to stop, so I just went on and on. Enjoy my personal favorite and longest chapter yet!

You had been loosely following these big footprints for a few minutes now. Even then, what Mihara said really stuck with you; That being this low in rank means you don't get a choice in the matter. It was actually bothering you enough to where Rapi picked up on it and came closer to your side.
"Commander, I'm sorry to say this, but Mihara is right. Since we are this low on the totem pole, all we can do right now is tread carefully." She spoke to you.
"I know, but...if we keep doing well, we can change that, right?" You asked her. For the first time in a while, Rapi looked conflicted; It was like she was hesitating.
'Commander...I truly do appreciate you for caring for us like you have, but I know that most wouldn't do the same. Most people could disrespect you or even hate you for acting like you do. Still, I won't allow this to happen. You care for us, so let me protect to stay by your side. I...never want anyone to slander your name again.' Rapi swore to herself. "Yes, that can always change, Commander."
Those words did help you feel better as you wiped the look off your face. "Mihara? You might want to look at this." You hear Yuni call out. Catching up with Yuni, you discover want she was pointing out: The slow trail of footprints had now disappeared.
"What do we do now?" Yuni asked.
"Well...we could go back..." Mihara suggested, though she trailed off. It was an option that you couldn't really take as you needed at least something to come back with. If you came back with nothing, it would be-
"Mihara, look at the wall over there!" Yuni suddenly spoke. On a nearby building, the windows and wall had been caved in by the same shape on the ground. "Whatever he was doing, he changed to scaling up this wall."
"Are you trying to say that this Rapture can scale walls?" Anis questioned. "Most Raptures can barely walk straight; Some of them don't even have legs! We would be dealing with something like a gorilla."
Casually ignoring Anis, Mihara made a small addition to her intel. "Well regardless, now we know two things: That Chatterbox can scale walls and that he knows something is following him. How much he knows is something we need to ask him."
