The Rail Blade is a tactical rail-mounted melee weapon, comparable to the Z.E.D. Squad Chainsaw. While it can be used as a standard melee weapon, its reverse tactical rail allows it to be attached to blasters as a melee weapon underneath the barrel, similarly to a bayonet. It also can be used as a handguard.
The Rail Blade's reverse tactical rail is different from standard reverse tactical rails; its tabs are fixed and not spring-assisted. Because of this, the Rail Blade is hard to remove from a tactical rail.
