13. Good News

Dropping on his knees and Sasuke lowered his head to the floor, turning into a ball of crying mess. Sakura saw him break down and it filled her heart with immense pain. Her feet stepped forward to comfort him but was halted by a firm tug on her doctor's coat.

Her eyes widened and she turned hastily to check what caught on her coat only to find a pair of cerulean eyes staring at her accompanied with a raspy voice, "Sa-kura-cha, I'm- sorry". The edge of her coat was clenched in his fist.

"You..", Her jaw dropped along with another stream of tear. For a moment there she didn't know how to react, then her medical instincts kicked-in. She cupped his face and pulled the skin under his eyes down to check his eyes. "Sasukeee", she called sasuke to see this.

"It's Naruto..", Naruto clarified, as he wondered why she called him sasuke.

"Goodness...Thank you! thank you! Thank you!!", she rapidly muttered involuntarily "Open your mouth", she ordered him next.

He obeyed but did not understand what was going on, "hakura-han..I ah horry.."

She checked his throat, everything seemed fine. Her other hand went to check on his pulse. His pulse was normal and steady after a long time. "Yogattaaa..", she whispered as tears streamed down her face.

Until that point Sasuke got up from the floor and stood by Naruto's feet watching him rise to consciousness and actually speak!! Sasuke couldn't believe he was able to hear his voice again after so long.

Naruto's eyes fell on Sasuke. He was looking a mess with the cheeks wet with tears, red swollen eyes, the cheeks were missing its usual plump and glow, so was Sakura. Naruto didn't understand what was happening. Where he was? Looking at Sasuke he expressed his concern, "You look awful, dattebayo!! What's happening?"

"Baka!", Sasuke started crying again.

He looked at Sakura, "I brought the flower you needed."

"Ohh yeah.. thanks for reminding me that", her face got angry suddenly and she landed a tight slap on Naruto's face. "You FUCKING Moron!!!!"

Naruto was so shook, he held his palm on the burn on cheek. Oh noo!! Sakura's still mad.

"Haha, that was well deserved", Kurama's voice echoed inside Naruto.

"You idiot you!! What were you thinking going after that flower on your own??? You think you're so strong, nothing can beat you?? Do you even think of the repercussions, like ever Naruto..??? Did you even think of Sasuke-kun?? What would happen to him if something went wrong??", Sakura was yelling in fury.

"Na-Nani dattebayo?", Naruto stammered, tears started brimming in his eyes as well.

"He has been sleepless for more than a week!!! Worrying sick about you and doing everything possible in his control to get you up and going. He didn't even have a good meal in last so many days, has been crying his eyes off. You think he deserves that after loving you so much???", Naruto was getting such a scolding, it appeared to him that may be he got in trouble and has missed a lot of things that were happening since last few days. He spared a look at Sasuke, who was staring at Sakura with tears.

"I swear NARUTO.. if you don't love and take care of him enough, I will beat you to death and cut you into pieces-", she was stopped midway as Sasuke suddenly hugged her from behind, his hand wrapping around her shoulders. His chin rested on one of her shoulder while he was crying uncontrollably, "Ari-Gato!!" It calmed sakura down and they both started sobbing.
