Sakura rushed to the hospital to check on Naruto. Apparently he was not able to feel his left leg, but he restrained telling it to everyone to keep them from worrying and get a little rest. Thankfully it was nothing permanent. The nerve endings in his legs have ruptured considerably and needed a few more days to recover them.
Therefore, he was to stay in the hospital for a few more days. She relayed the same information to Kakashi. Upon knowing that the situation was taken care of, the hokage decided to complete his tasks for the day and pay Naruto a visit in the evening.
Throughout the day he kept thinking of all the happenings from last evening and this morning. Sakura wearing his clothes and sleeping in his bed. How she let him caress her soft hair, how his lips touching her forehead. He wasn't able to shrug the image of Sakura checking him out - Does she find me attractive? She's bothered when I'm mad and flushed when I get closer. Does that mean she likes me? Can't believe I was gonna ask her for a date just like that, shouldn't it be more special?
At the end of the day he decided to meet her and ask her anyway. He went to the hospital, but Sakura was nowhere to be found. He then went to see Naruto, "Hey Naruto, how's your leg now?"
"Kaka-sensei? Hey.. I still don't feel any sensations in this leg. But feel like its recovering."
"I hope you recover fast. How long will you've to stay in the hospital?"
"Sakura-chan said it would take about a week."
"Ohh, where's she btw?"
Naruto grinned ear to ear and squeaked, "she went on a date!"
Kakashi's eyes popped out in shock, "DAATTTTEEEE?!?!?!? W-wi-with whom??"
"With Sasuke..."
"Whaaaaaaatttttt??!?!?? What the- Isn't he your boyfriend?"
"Hahaha.. you reaction is priceless Sensei", Naruto went into a feat of laughter. "Yes.. my boyfriend Sasuke took Sakura out for a date."

Kakashi panicked at the thought of Sakura and Sasuke being on the date, doing romantic stuff. Sasuke was the guy she was obsessed with, until recently. He felt something burning inside him that left him strangely discomforted.
"Let me explain - Sasuke has always ignored Sakura over the years, they hardly know each other. With all that Sakura-chan did to revive me back to life, he felt like thanking her in someway and also to know her better. That's why we came up with this plan."
"You are in on this? Don't you feel, insecure?", Kakashi asked him. Whatever be the intentions, Sakura being on a date with someone else made him feel kinda jealous.
