"So what makes this park special?" Leota cautiously asked Peacemaker who was finally taking a break from their hour long jog. "There's other parks to run around in closer to our job you know."

"There's this person who comes here at 12:30 and I like to look at them." Peacemaker honestly said, his eyes subconsciously looking towards the person's usual spot.

"Are they here today?" Leota followed his gaze to an empty pinic table that overlooked a pond.

"Nope, some days they're late. Just means they'll stay longer." Peacemaker's gaze didn't move from the spot as he pictured them rushing out from their car and sliding into their favorite seat.

"Have you ever talked to them?" Leota took her attention off the bench to watch Peacemaker daydream.

"Once. I think Eagly has a crush on their vulture." Peacemaker eyes widened a bit and finally drifted away from the bench.

Leota traced his line of sight to a black and silver convertible with expensive looking spiderweb moulding decorating it. Out stepped a person also covered in black and silver, with the only other color peaking out being their skin. Even from their location Leota could hear their mellow raspy voice call for the death eater of a bird in the backseat.

"Wow." Was the only Leota could muster in reaction to what had to be a bat personified.

"I know." Peacemaker had a dreamy lull to his voice his eyes actually locked into the vampire's soft jog to their spot.

"Ahem?" Smith's head slowly swiveled over to look Leota in the eyes. "So? Are you going to talk to them?"

He softly huffed giving the gothic stranger a finally look. "Maybe tomorrow, nobody's happy on Monday."

Leota only gave him a knowing look before deciding that helping this cowboy x goth love story work out wouldn't be the greatest waste of a week.
