"Mommy will daddy pick me up later?"

You take your daughter's small hands in yours as you leave the car, because she is going to nursery school.

"Yes, baby, daddy will pick you up," you say with a smile.

Estelle shares many of your characteristics.

You smile slightly as you think that some of the first child will undoubtedly get the looks from the father but when you see Estelle, she truly is a miniature version of you.

When you returned home after sending her, you noticed Jay's car inside your garage.

So he's back home.

He usually left the house around midnight to visit Aliana and then returned in the morning. As you think about it, your heart begins to ache again. Although you are aware from the beginning that even if you two marry and have a child, his love for Aliana will never change.

You saw him in your room, he had just finished taking a bath. He was holding his phone, and it's possible that he was talking to Aliana again.

"Jay," you stated.

He casts a glance at you before returning his attention to his phone.

"Hmm?"

"You'll get Estelle from school later?" you asked.

"Yes," he answered.

You simply nod in reply to his brief response.

"Did you eat? I'll cook you breakfast-" You can't finish your sentence because he cut it.

"I had breakfast with Aliana earlier," he casually stated.

Despite knowing that he will prioritize Aliana over his family, you choose to smile and act as if everything is fine. As you leave him in your room, wiping the tears from your cheeks.

It was Estelle's birthday, and you kept texting Jay.

"Where is daddy, Mommy?"

You carry your daughter and kiss her natural pinkish cheeks when you notice her crying.

"He will baby."

After a minute, the attention turns to a car, which turns out to be Jay.

You smile because he still arrived before the party started. However, your smile fades as the passenger seat door opens to reveal Aliana.

You wanted to be mad, but it was your daughter's birthday, and you didn't want to ruin it.

"Daddy!" Estelle cries out as you set her down, she ran straight to Jay, who carried her while Aliana patted her on the head.

You hear people talking and asking about the girl Jay brought, but you pretend not to hear them. And act as if nothing is wrong.

You wanted to cry and scream at Jay because you felt it was too much, you feel so insulted.

So when the party is over and the guests have gone home, you can't hold yourself to confront Jay.

"Really, Jay? You bring her on our daughter's birthday?" You said.

"What's the problem? She's my girlfriend, and she'd like to meet my daughter."

You laugh mockingly at what you heard. You can't think that Jay is actually a heartless man. He didn't give a damn about how you felt.

"Jay, you're a married man with a mistress, and you want your daughter to meet her? Are you that eager to replace my role as Estelle's mother?"

Despite the argument, Jay never yelled at you. He simply wants the option to leave the house whenever you two argue.

Now, however, there is a changed, and that is the time when he takes his clothes out of the closets.

Despite the fact that you still hold out hope that Jay will one day regard you as his wife and not just Estelle's mother you felt anxious because you don't want him to abandon you.

"You're going back to her? no! you can't leave!"

You're crying now as you return the clothes he takes from the closet. But he gives up it and goes to get his keys instead.

You tried to stop him by holding onto his shirt, but he forcibly took them away, which caused you to lose your balance.

Jay hasn't returned home in a week. Estelle was always wondering where his father was, but you always lied and said he was on a business trip.

One time, u were playing with your daughter on an unexpected day when you heard a car engine outside. It was Jay, and he was dressed in a dark green polo with his pants tucked in inside.

Estelle rushes to Jay as soon as he enters the house. But not you, you'd grown cold to him.

When it was midnight and you went to your room to get a pillow, you noticed Jay hugging Estelle because she had fallen asleep in your room.

Jay laid a glance at you, and you were aware of it, but you were unable to return his gaze.

"Where are you going?" Jay asked after you had got a pillow.

You glance at him.

"I'll sleep in our daughter's room, you should sleep with her she misses you," You said as you prepared to leave when you remembered something.

"I found a condo in Makati, and we're moving there next week."

You can see the bewildered expression on his brow.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

You've realized in recent days that this unwanted marriage will never work if the other person doesn't help it work.

So maybe it's time to give it up.

"Jay, I want to file an annulment."
