When stars fades 14

It's been a week since your vacation with Jay in CEBU, and everything has returned to normal life, including the pollution and traffic. When you return from CEBU, the first thing you do is-go to Jay's parents to get Estelle, and it feels like you haven't seen her in a year because you miss her so much that you can't let go of the hug the moment you see her.

"I miss you, baby," you said as you hugged her tightly.

Estelle didn't respond because she was too busy eating her donut that Jay had brought her on your way to his parents.

When you carry Estelle, you notice Jay, he was busy on his phone texting someone and you think it was from work because his staff called him earlier when you were on your way to get Estelle, maybe there's a business meeting out of the country based on what you hear.

"Jay, do you want to eat before we go back to the condo?" you asks.

"No need, I'll cook," he said as he drove.

When he said that, you smiled because you've noticed that he always wants to cook food for you, when you were still in Bohol he rented a restaurant for a day just to cook for you because cooking is not permitted in the hotel, so that's what he thought of doing.

"Then we should go to the grocery store first, because there's no food in the condo," you said, and he nodded.

You both decided to go to the grocery store first, so Jay got a pushing cart and placed Estelle in it.

You laugh slightly because Estelle appears to be happy, while his father continues to push it.

Jay goes to the meat section to pick a good meat to cook later.

Jay was busy with the meat section, so you chose to go to the skin care section because you forgot your skin care kit at the hotel in Cebu when you were traveling back home.

You took out all your belongings and forgot to return the kit so you only realized it after you had already left the hotel you didn't even think to return because Jay was in a hurry because you were already late for your flight.

You were about to get something when you noticed a man getting something from the wine area he looks so familiar, and he reminds you of Riki.

You're not sure if you should approach him because as you recall, the man standing has blonde hair and Riki's hair is black so you chose not to leave where you were standing and waited for him to face you so you could be sure it was him but Jay suddenly called you, which is why your attention is drawn to him.

"Do you want to eat lasagna, baby?" he asked, pointing to the lasagna pasta.

You look at it briefly when he hands it to you before looking at the back of the calories.

When you see that it's safe to eat, you return it to him.

"Sure."

Jay nods to you as you look back on the wine area to see the guy, but he's no longer there, so you look around to see where he went but it's gone, Jay seems to notice what you're doing, so he also looks around while asking who you're looking for.

"Who are you looking for?" he asks.

You return his gaze.

"I think I saw Riki there," you said, pointing to the wine area.

You laughed because you noticed his expression change after you mentioned Riki's name.

"What's up with that expression? Are you jealous?" You said.

Jay gave you a brief glance before averting his gaze.

You expected him to deny it because he wouldn't speak, but when you returned to where you saw Riki earlier, he simply replied.
