Blue Lock Academy's botanical haven, M/n marveled at the expansiveness, juxtaposed against the sterile interiors. A bench beckoned, and he obliged. Contentment embraced him, sans companions.
Phone primed for use, then stilled. Feline senses tingled. "Gasp! Cat?!" Proximity palpable, he suppressed a grin. Cats gravitated towards him - a well-documented phenomenon.
Pocketing the device, he scanned, verifying his suspicions. A sleek, black creature purred, beckoning. "Omg! Kitty!" Excitement coursed, as he cautiously neared.
"Basic rule. If you see a cat, pet the cat." M/n smiled at his unspoken mandate, chatting to himself as if he was used to it. Petting ensued, the feline responding in purrs. Contrary to expectations, the black beauty cooperated. "Awhh.. Good kitty.. Good─ wait." Gender assessment followed by the h/c boy checking the furry feline's belly. "Good boy!"
Unnoticed, a stranger invaded the tranquility. Reddish pink locks fluttered, whispering, "Oh gosh.. Where's that black cat.. I might get in trouble if Ego or Anri notices it." Search mode engaged. M/n's feline companionship remained invisible.
Hesitant murmurs escaped M/n. "Hm.." Stealthily, he lifted the cat, inching towards an unorthodox kidnapping─ or should he say, catnapping? Eyes locked on his quarry, his dexterity belied intentions.
Reddish pink locks' approach drew nearer. "Ah─ there you are.." Awareness dawned on the unfamiliar face. "Please give me the cat back." Persuasion manifested, eyes flickering between feline and M/n. "Oh. This cat is yours? Haha.. I thought this was the cat the Academy takes care of.." M/n's laughter veiled the theft.
"Well, yes.. Will you return it now, please?" The pinkish redhead waited, curiosity piqued. M/n complied, "Oh.. Yeah. Sure." Then, subterfuge: "Only if you tell me its name, though. Easy request right?" Feline fur caressed, M/n reveled in the encounter.
Hesitance marred the stranger's response. "Look, the cat doesn't have a name yet. That counts as an answer right? Now please give me back the cat." Tongue protruded playfully, M/n's mischief persisted.
