It's a beautiful day for a ghost story.

Aria was sound asleep when I heard a few light taps on the door

Aria was sound asleep when I heard a few light taps on the door. I gently slide from under her, slowly allowing her to get comfortable in her new position. I kiss her forehead. I am falling for this beautiful, sweet woman. Damn, I will do anything for her. I walk from the bed to my bedroom door. I crack it open to see Bill standing there. I step out of the room and close the door behind me.

"What's up, Bill?"

"Get dressed. We have business to handle."

"Alright."

"Aries and Frank are in your office. We'll be waiting."

I nod my head in acknowledgment before gently slipping back into the room, trying not to make any noise. As I tiptoe further into my room, I notice Aria is out of bed. The soft glow of the bathroom light filters through the closed door. I make my way to the closet, carefully selecting a red button-down shirt and black slacks. After getting dressed, I toss my pajamas into the hamper and walk out of the closet. That's when I see her sitting in the middle of the bed, looking at me with a longing expression, her arms open in a silent request for a hug. I can't help but giggle at her adorable gesture as I make my way over to her. Sitting down on the bed next to her, I wrap my arms around her waist, and she reciprocates by wrapping her arms around my neck.

"I know you gotta go." She says, placing her head on my shoulder.

"I'll stay here with you til you fall asleep."

"Kiss me." She softly says, looking up at me.

I gazed down at her with a soft smile, feeling a rush of warmth as I leaned in to press my lips to hers tenderly. As she responded and pulled me closer, I carefully brushed a stray tendril of hair behind her ear, savoring the intimacy of the moment. Finding a more comfortable position, I let my thumb trail gently across her warm cheek, reveling in the softness of her skin. Our legs entwined, creating a gentle friction, and as I pulled back slightly, she slowly opened her eyes, meeting my gaze with a radiant smile. Unable to resist, I lightly ran my thumb along her bottom lip, eliciting a delightful giggle from her.

"Thank you, Michael." She says before yawning.

"I'm always going to be here, sweetheart."

As she settled in and got more comfortable, I gently placed the cover over her. Leaning in, I pressed a tender kiss to her forehead, and her eyelids fluttered closed. I sat there, watching her peaceful expression, and couldn't help but smile. It wasn't long before she drifted back to sleep. Slowly, I slipped out of bed and quietly made my way to the closet, retrieving my old loafers that I kept handy for these moments. With my shoes in hand, I tiptoed out of the room, pausing to steal a fond glance at her before softly closing the door behind me.

After slipping on my loafers, I made my way to my office, navigating through the quiet house. As I reached the door, I gently pushed it open and entered. Aries, Bill, and Frank were already there, engrossed in their own tasks. I made my way over to my desk, sinking into the familiar comfort of my chair.
