CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

10th June, 2025.

"Uhmm, guys where are you taking me to?" I asked while Khadija drives to an unknown location. I went out with my friends and they said we're gonna try a new restaurant, so here we are, but I don't even know where they are heading to.
"Chill mana, we won't kidnap you daddy's girl, it's a new place. A surprise, you'd see. You've been in isolation so you deserve some special treatment to charge up your social battery." Zainab said from the front seat. It was Khadija, Zainab, Haleema and Me in the car. Khadija is driving with Zainab in the passenger seat, me and Haleema at the back.
"Ku bar ta, maybe we look like kidnappers to her ne, mtchewwww." Haleema hissed.
"Dude calm d, I was just kidding, ah why the fire ?" I retorted.
"Toh ya ishe ku haka, we're here." Khadija said from the driver's seat.
"Wow, this place looks magical." I said in awe as I got down from the car. The place was like a garden from a fairy tale. There was this huge water fountain in the middle, with double doors behind it. I was so mesmerised I didn't realise all my friends have disappeared.
"Hello, guys, this isn't funny." I said looking around scared as hell. That was when I saw a sign reading "enter the double doors Aisha no one will bite you" with a rolling eyes emoji. Okay that was funny, after realising I'm safe, I entered the garden like restaurant. Oh my God guys, the beauty of this place is not something I can describe. It has a dark vibe and interior with soft lights illuminating the place. This is something everyone knows I'd love, now I know why my friends insisted we come here, they know me so well. Speaking of friends, they are no where to be seen.
"Guys you can come out now, I love your surprise, it's not funny anymore cause I'm getting scared this is some butchery house disguised as my heaven." I rambled.
That was when I heard someone chuckle through the speakers, but before I could think about why the voice sounds familiar, my favourite song of all time started playing softly, Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur.
I was so happy and emotional, singing along until when it reached that part "I'm so in love with you, and I hope you know, darling your love is more than what it weights in gold", another voice was singing with me through the speakers. That was when I saw him, the absolute love of my life, he the person I can't live without, my baby, my man, my Bee, standing a few feet away from me and singing along with me.
I'm done for guys, I'm so in love and I'm scared of what the future holds for us cause I don't think I'd ever recover if anything was to happen to US.
