"So now what did you tell him after he said that" my boyfriend asked me. I was telling him about what happened between me and Farooq at the school today, we're on face time .
"I just told him I'm sorry but I don't see him that way and I already have a Man . I also told him I only ever saw him as an older brother and nothing else, then I just stood and left the office without another word from either of us. Gosh I'm gonna miss the comfortable couch in his office" I sighed as I replied him .
"So the couch is your worry not the friendship you lost , what a girlfriend I have" he said while chuckling.
"Of course I'm sad for loosing a friend like him , a brother . It'd be so awkward now in class , except if he pretends nothing ever happened, then that'd make everything easier . But babe have you felt that couch ? It's like there's a sleep spell on it" I whined again .
"What should I do with you my love" he said and he immediately looked at me in the eye with a guilty look , because he knows he just said something he shouldn't have , something that brings back old and dark memories, the demons of the past I never want to visit. Memories locked in the depths of my heart . "My love" , a word every girl wishes to hear from her loved one but a word I despise with all my being .
"I'm so sorry baby girl, it was a slip of the tongue" he said with a plea in his voice.
'Click' I cut the call and switched off my phone, the lights and welcomed the darkness and the demons. The demons lurking in the darkness of my room or the memories?
I don't even know .
I hate him; the one behind all the memories and demons.
