Maithili's pov

I couldn't believe how can I be so self centred—instead of clearing everythings up between us I ignored him all along.

"Where's Raghav now?" I asked immediately.

'I have to talk to him.'

"He's in the throne room with the other royal."

"Can I go there?"

"No—its only men area for now." He replied. "But don't worry bhaisa will be back in 2 hrs. It's just he has to go through some royal protocol before his official coronation ceremony—which is in 10 days only." He added.

I went to my room and freshened up and had dinner then waited for Raghav to come
so I can talk to him but I fell asleep as I was tired from the journey.

Around 2 or 3 Am I woke up and noticed him sleeping next to me. As I was going to wake him up so I can talk to him—I stopped myself from waking him up when I saw him sleeping peacefully...I removed his glasses and covered him with the blanket.

He suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me close to him. Before I could do something he placed his hand around my waist.

I stayed in that position as I knew if I move he would end up waking up. Even last night he didn't sleep properly—actually he never sleep peacefully. But right now when I look at him he looks deep in sleep. His facial expression's are so relaxed and calm that it makes me warm when I look at him.

Slowly I felt my eyes close again and due to tiredness I fell asleep before I knew it.

Raghav's pov.

Last night when I came back to the room—I saw her sleeping peacefully. I laid down next to her...I don't know how but I fell asleep... and now when I woke up after 5 hrs of sleep—my arms were wrapped around her waist while her hand rested on my chest. I fought the urge to kiss her on the forehead. Suddenly she started to wake up so I immediately closed my eyes.

Even though my eyes were closed but i could feel that she was looking at me. She slowly grabbed my hand and gently put it on my side.

Then I felt her fingers softly brushing through my hair and gentle caressing. Suddenly she pulled her hand away and started to get up from the bed.

Maithili's pov

"Don't go.." he held my wrist. My eyes widen in sudden realization. 'Was he awake this whole time?!!'

"You were awake this whole time..weren't you?!" I glanced at him.

"Yes." He smile boyishly.

"R-Raghav." I began. "I have to talk to you!"

"What is it, Maithili?" He sat next to me.

"I am sorry for my behaviour."

"Please..don't apologize. I should have been truthful with you—it was my fault. So I am sorry too." He took my hand in his.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.

"I couldn't because there were so many things and I couldn't figure it out—or where to begin—After my uncle placed me in the orphanage—royal tittles and royal status didn't matter to me. My dad was a king but he was a army soldier too he always told me that tittle doesn't and shouldn't matter when it comes to live one's life. It's all about our potential and possibility that lies before us. My grandfather was kinda against my father being in the army but my father had already chosen his way of life. My mom was very supportive of it. Though the tittle belonged to my dad but mom took over all the responsibilities. When I was around 10 they both passed away in an accident. After two years, my uncle cut all the ties with me—even though his wife was against his decision." He paused for sec as he collected his thoughts. "After whatever happen I never knew that I'll ever be here as a king or even be part with this family again. Rohil was 6 when all this happened and geeta wasn't born until Rohil was around 15 years old. I knew I had to keep my distance—that's why I cut all the ties too. I made my own name—my own identity and became the no.1 businessmen of the country." He looked back at me but this time with shine in his dark brown eyes.

"...though I had no one ...expect this." He showed me a picture of his parents in his wallet.

"What's that?" I asked as something fell from his wallet. And I was shocked to see my picture.

"Is that from that night? When you dropped me at my house?!" I asked in surprise.

"Yes!" He smiled taking the photograph from my hand putting back in his wallet.

"Raghav, will we be able to go our home in Mumbai?"

"You are missing home too?"

"Are you also?"

"Yes...but to answer your questions—when we will be able to go there? Not sure—since In less than 10 days I have coronation coming."

"Wait—you are not going to marry any Princess to be a king, right?!" I don't know why I said that. For a long minute he looked at me and then said. "Absolutely not! I already have my queen so why would I marry a Princess?!"
