Hello there, hope you enjoyed the break. Let me remember where I was.. uh.. gotcha! We’re studying about choices last time and it was a pretty fascinating concept, isn’t it? Well, today I’ll tell you about another precious thing that triggers mortal’s emotions. To be specific I’m talking about “moments”. As in our daily life we go through several moments and sometimes these moments might light up our positive thoughts and it might push us towards dark or might confuses someone very badly where they loose their mental peace to figure out answers for questions raised in that moment. So, how this should be resolved? Well! In that case I’m not sure that I can give you a satisfactory solution for this but there’s my own theory about this, yet to make you understand the theory about moments that I’m going to propose in front of you requires an example. So let’s continue the story to find out answers for our curiosity.
Story continues…
“2nd April 1963, A fine Tuesday with a beautiful lady of 20th century” Aayan says while staring at Kainaz. Kainaz replies to Aayan with a blushing glow on her face “Aameen”. Suddenly a voice barges their beautiful conversation “Vannakam Sir, myself Subbu Rao at your service. Welcome again to Madras”. Aayan frees his body posture and exhales by looking at the person “Vannakam Anna, how’re you been ? it’s been while till now”.
“nalla irikke” he says. Subbu Rao notices Kainaz and drags Aayan near to him and asks him by keeping low voice “Anna is she’s is your girlfriend?”. Kainaz hears his saying and her eyes pops out. “Nah, she’s my comrade and Kainaz! He’s my old friend Subbu Rao”.
Subbu Rao and Aayan place the luggage bags in the car and Aayan stops Kainaz from lifting the luggage bag “Allow me to do this for you, my lady!”. Aayan’s words are quite heart melting for Kainaz and at the same time Aayan was obsessed with those ocean eyes of Kainaz, A charm and a feeling he never felt before. An unknown feeling which can’t be defined precisely for both of them.
While driving Subbu Rao tries to cover his statement thinking that Kainaz might felt uncomfortable by the question he asked them about their relationship “Madam, I’m sorry if I made you feel annoyed by asking about your relationships. Recently My nephew married a British Women and that made me to think that wedding relationships between different races, classes are becoming new trend nowadays” he said.
Kainaz smiles and analysing the situation of Mr. Rao is regretting inside by thinking that he annoyed her by asking such question, “There’s no need to be sorry, I understand. Don’t think about it”. Aayan chuckles by watching them and a to keep continuity in conversation he drags that relationship topic “Arey, Hn.. Nowadays marrying a man or women of another race is quite a new trend” he says.
Kainaz listens to Aayan and keeping a face folding expression on her face “Well, Marrying a person from different clan or race isn’t a new trend. In ancient times these marriages are performed too like Emperor Chandragupta Mourya married to a Greek princess Helena and even there’s example from southern India too” she says.
Mr. Rao feels surprised “From south India? What’s that?” he asks Kainaz by looking in car’s front mirror while driving. Kainaz fires a question “I think you had to visited Bibi Nachiyar at least once by till now?”. Mr. Rao contemplates for a second and smiles “Yeah, I almost forgot that’s a nearby example” he says. Aayan was watching them in a curiosity that whom they’re discussing about and he pops out in middle of their conversation “Hang on! Who is this Nachiyar? A monk or something like that?” he asks them.
Kainaz turns towards Aayan and start to explain about the tale of Bibi Nachiyar “When Sulthans invades Shrirangapatanam, an idol of Krishna has been carried to Delhi. A Muslim princess falls in love with Krishna in that idol form and she dedicate herself to him. Later on the Idol was taken back to the temple, the princess was travelled to the temple where it was worshiped and she consider herself as the wife of Govinda and lived there till she attained heaven and now people worship her as Bibi nachiyar”. Aayan feels fascinated and seems he was surprised by the tale “Hmm… A Muslim Princess fell in love with a Hindu God, fascinating!”
Mr. Rao drives the car at a Villa “Here we are Ladies and Gentlemen, go and get yourself relived”. Kainaz was clueless and surprised at the same time “Uh… I think you’re doomed Mr. Rao! This isn’t Govt. VIP guest house”. Aayan chuckles “Actually, This is one of my Villa and we’re going to stay here until we depart back to Dehradun. You’ll get all kind of accommodation here.” Kainaz staring at Aayan “You’re unpredictable!” she said. Kainaz accepting that she’s the only guest now and taunting Aayan “What about the meeting? We need to go for that or they’re coming here itself?” she asks.
Aayan (chuckles) “Hehe… The deal is signed, I had a call with him when we’re at Dehradun and we’ll get that signed document at the day we depart from here” he said. By hearing to Aayan, Kainaz eyes pops and she burst on Aayan “Are you kidding me Aayan? When this can be done in a phone call then why you made a reason of meeting and made me to travel this far. Now, without a meeting the deal is signed and you’re smiling . Ya Allah! Then what’re we here for?” she sits on stair slab by looking at him. Aayan was enjoying the feeling of cuteness in her when she get furious and to provoke her anger “ To enjoy, I guess!” he says.
Kainaz was confused that she need to laugh or yell at Aayan “You know what happens if Abbu get to know that what’s happening here that we both are hanging out by saying that we’re on a business trip? He going to screw both of us!” she burst on him.
Aayan is pretty passionate in convincing and looking her in a humble facial expression “Uh…. Who is going to tell him that we’re hanging out? You going tell him? I won’t afford that risk of telling him the truth” he says. Kainaz (chuckles) “You set this up, aren’t you?” she asks. Aayan looks deep in her eyes “The restricted life with no buckle up fun. Don’t you feel like your wisdom is chained Kainaz? Yes, I set this up so that I can show you the world that I see through my eyes without any chains sprawling mind and freedom. I can assure you this much that no body can screw you or harm you, not on my watch”. Aayan’s words touches her heart and that’s sounds like a hope that nobody has given to her. Kainaz was lost in his words and she sounds safe at that shotgun on head situation “Yeah, I knew that much” she says in a down tone by looking in his eyes.
“Get relax, As far as I’m aware it’s time for Meherib and get back to the dinning hall after you done with namaz. I’ve planned something special for you” he says.
Maids carried the luggage to the room and everything get set up in a blink of an eye. Kainaz performs the Namaz ritual and walk towards the balcony, a green view all around the villa feels like a heaven on earth. After couple of Decca minutes she get’s down to the dinning hall. A spacious dinning hall where 20 members can sit for once.
Aayan serves a Sharbat (Lemon juice) to Kainaz. “Is this is that special thing you were talking about?” she asks him with a polite smile on her face. “Hmm, not exactly yet it’s a part of the special thing” he says.
Kainaz gives a gentle smile “A memorable sunset with the handsome man, I guess I should write a poem on this title” she teases Aayan. Aayan smiles with blushing cheeks and teases her back “How about we modify this a bit? ‘A fabulous tale of Aayaz’ What do you say?”.
Kainaz keeping a curious expression on her face “Aayaz?” she asks. Aayan comes close to her face “Aayan and Kainaz equals to ‘Aayaz’. Sounds pretty cool, don’t you think?” he said. Both of them were enjoying pretty romantic time ignoring their circumstances.
Aayan coughs and sign them to bring something. A maid handover a small metallic box, Kainaz being curious “Is that the special thing you’re talking about?” she asks.
Aayan with a polite smile on his face “You’ll get to know within minutes, My lady! Let’s take a walk, only two us to my backyard. I’ve something to show there, hope you may like it”. Kainaz won’t pulls her back “Inshallah! Following you” she said.
A private lake with a spiral wooden bridge over it and a antique designed hand railings for the safety and boosting the fabulous look of the bridge. Aayan walks Kainaz by holding her hands on the bridge till they reach the centre of the bridge and keep looking to each other in eyes constantly. Aayan takes out the metal box from his vas coat’s pocket and unbox it, A white liquid sago sweet dish filled in it.
“A Sago dish specially cooked for you by myself. It’s believed that this dish is symbol of love and peace in South India.” He said. Kainaz looking in his eyes takes the spoon in from his hand and taste a slice of the dish. Aayan was waiting for her review about his cooking, “Mashallah! It’s delicious, I haven’t tasted such unique taste ever”. She said.
Aayan felt thrown on head “Really?”. Kainaz asks him “Ain’t you tasted your own dish yet?” Aayan nodes his head signing ‘No’. “Well, I ain’t brought another spoon with me. You enjoy the dish, I’ll have it later” he said.
Kainaz takes a slice from the same spoon and takes it his lips “I’m sure it tastes heaven in this spoon compared to others”. Aayan chuckles “Yes, it is. When you’re sharing the spoon and feeding me with your hands. I’m sure it’ll taste might be more than heaven”. He said. Kainaz helps him through spoon feeding without blinking eyes for constant timeline feeling like even the micro second they don’t want to miss each other’s appearance by blinking their eyes.
They finish eating and both were running out of words to keep continuity in conversation yet they don’t ready to end the conversation too. Aayan asks Kainaz to take a walk till the park bench placed on the other side of the lake. While walking he asks Kainaz “You were telling the tale of Bibi Nachiyar in our journey. Tell me now, Marrying a god or a person from another religion, is it acceptable?” he asks. Kainaz contemplates for a couple of a minute “It’s up to the believe of the person, religion have responsibility and that should be obeyed without failed and love it’s something that I can’t define precisely yet It’s a feeling which take birth irrespective of boundaries, restrictions and demands. So, I respect her dedication to love” she said. Aayan looking in to her eyes “I want to know about what you feel about that, according to you is she is guilty?” he asks.
They stops at the bridge end and here Aayan was expecting the answer by looking in to her ocean eyes. “We all are humans, we do feel emotions like everyone do. We do search for love in our life and she got her love in other religion and everything is scripted by Allah. So to my eyes, She’s not guilty in any dimension. Her love is pure and devotional and this what I think” she answered.
“But, why are you asking me this serious?” she asks Aayan but there’s no curiosity noticed in her face. It seems like she know the answer already but a technique to verify their answer. “Just finding answers, It’s time already. We should head back” he said. “Don’t you hold my hand will walking back? Like you walk me till here” she asks. “Sure, my lady. It’s my pleasure to assist you” Aayan hold her hand “Let’s go” they walk back to villa by locking their hands
