Amaya's POV

"Yes"

"Thank you", Mrs O'Brien smiled. Just then there was a knock on the door after which a maid came to inform us that it was time to leave. We both walked back to the sitting area where my parents and Mr O'Brien were. Lucas was nowhere in sight. I was actually hurt that he didn't think to come see me off but what did I expect from the domineering CEO.

I hugged Mrs O'Brien and waved goodbye to Mr O'Brien as we headed outside to the car. I was just about to get into the car when Emilia came running up to me. "You left this", she smiled at me. In her hands was my makeup set.

"It's yours now, you can have it. It's new. I haven't used it much but I'll still get you a full one. Once you're an official teenager though.", I laughed to which she scrunched her face before hugging me. "It's our little secret. Remember..."

"Just light makeup.", She finished my sentence before stepping back and waving at me. Somehow my eyes seemed to have caught hold of Luca's where he was standing at what seemed to be the balcony of his room. He had changed from his corporate shirt and pants to a casual shirt and joggers. He stood there staring at me, his one hand in his pocket and the other holding a glass of whiskey to his lips. Gosh how I wish i could replace that glass right now.

Just who are you Lucas, you confuse me, sometimes you make me cry, other times you make me smile and still I can't stop myself from feeling something for you. I got into the car. The car zooming off almost immediately. Gawd Amaya, what's gotten into you.

Lucas POV

I excused myself from the living room to start making arrangements for the pre wedding organizations. I knew our mothers would want to go all out for this wedding and I wanted to make things easier for them by making the prearrangements. Letting Amaya decide what she wanted for her wedding was just something that needed to be done. I wasn't that heartless.

Carlos' call interrupted me from my plannings. "This better be important", I was so uninterested in this call right now. For some reason I was feeling giddy about all this wedding preparations, I wasn't expecting much from my wedding cause I didn't really care about it, that is of course before now. Now I want Amaya to have her perfect wedding. It's the least I could do.

"Looks like someone didn't miss me. I didn't call for days and you didn't care to figure out if I was okay or not", Carlos was back to his dramatic stage again.

"Surely this isn't why you called me", I was on the verge of cutting the call but I knew Carlos only called me when it was something really important.

"I had a meeting with cloud nine bar today to fix an alliance with them and discuss some illegal shit", he started.

"Go on. You know I don't need to know about all that"

"It just so happened that Rossi paid a visit to the bar too"

"Not that old bastard again. What did he do this time?", I massaged my temple, I was already developing a migraine just hearing his name.

"He didn't come to cause trouble, just drink himself to stupor and pick up some girls. He seemed pissed about something. I got Jonas, the owner of the bar to get him talking though, he made sure he was drunk enough and began to ask him questions. Turns out he's actually working for someone"

"I figured, the bastard isn't smart enough to pull all this off alone. What did he say?"

"We couldn't get a hold of his boss' name but we did get something more important. His boss happens to be looking for a certain Giovanni Agostini"
