Chapter 9: A Day and Night Spent on the SS Anne

Dawn was breaking as Celeste woke up before anyone else. She starts to make breakfast for everyone. Ken was the second one awake out of the group. Celeste looked up from the pan and said "Morning Ken, there is a fresh pot of coffee on the counter if you would like a cup."

    "Oh thank you. Morning to you. What are you making?" Ken said as his mouth was watering still groggy.

    "Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, and Toast," Celeste said with a beaming smile.

    "Morning Ken. Morning babe," Daniel said as he kissed Celeste on the cheek. "What are you making?"

    "Breakfast, now wait for me to serve you and then you can eat," Celeste said with a sly smile.

    As they sat down to eat, Arcan joined them. "Oh good you're up. Now everyone digs in," Celeste said with a beaming smile.

    "Thank you, babe, this is very good. What did you put in the eggs?" Daniel asked with a mouth full of food.

    "Butter, Milk, Salt, and Pepper," Celeste said with a smile

    "That's it? This is so good," Arcan said with a smile.

Celeste smiled as everyone finished breakfast. She did the dishes and put them away. Daniel came up from behind her, hugged her, and whispered, "If you are going to cook like this every morning then I can't wait to marry you."

    Daniel proposed right then and there, much to Celeste's surprise. "Really? You wanna marry me?" Celeste asks, a shocked look comes across her face as she turns around to face him.

    "Of course, I wanna marry you. I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you," Daniel says as he holds Celeste's hand.

"I can't believe we are getting married. We need to get me a ring huh," Celeste said with a smile.

    "Yeah, I guess so," Daniel said as he put his forehead against Celeste's and rubbed her hand with his thumb.

As Celeste pulls away from Daniel, she puts on her hat. Daniel does the same. "I think it is time to head out. What do you think?" Daniel asks, looking into Celeste's eyes.

    "Yeah, I think that too. What do you want to do since you guys have the day off?" Celeste asks as she sips her coffee.

    "I think that more training is in order," Daniel says with a wink.

    Celeste blushes at the comment and looks at Daniel with a look of love in her eye. He looks back at her and winks at her again. She blushes again as she hides her face with her coffee mug. The group decides to train in Vermillion again and walks out of the Pokemon Center. Just as they get to the dock where the SS Anne is docked, Lt. Surge runs up to them and says "Hey you guys forgot your tickets to the SS Anne."

    "Oh, thanks Uncle Surge. This will come in handy today," Daniel says as he takes the tickets out of his hand. "Hey, guys. Lt. Surge gave us some tickets to the SS Anne for the weekend if you guys want to join." Daniel said to the group.

    "That sounds like fun. What do you think Ken?" Arcan asked as he looked at Ken.

    "Sure why not? That sounds relaxing," Ken said with a sigh and a sip of his coffee.

    They make their way down the dock toward the ship and they hear the ship worker asking for tickets. All Celeste has to do is show her trainer card and she is let onto the ship. As she is let onto the ship, the other three are let onto the ship with their tickets. They walk into the lobby of the ship and they walk to the deck of the ship. "It has been years since I have been on the SS Anne," Celeste says with a sigh.
