Stella's pov

Exiting the plane, Lando and his team followed behind me.

The weekend turned out to be a mess. It felt like Lando and I were drifting apart, like our relationship was losing its authenticity.

"Me, Lando, Stella, and Oscar again," Zak says, gesturing towards the black SUV. I head over, stow my suitcase, and take a seat beside Oscar.

Zak and Oscar exchange puzzled glances with Lando, and I sense the hurt in his expression as he looks at me. However, I remain silent, put my headphones in, and gaze out the window for the remainder of the drive.

We soon arrive at the hotel, and I make my way inside alone. However, since Lando and I are still sharing a room, he follows me inside. He grabs the card for our room, and together we head to the elevator and make our way to our room.

Once we're inside the room, I turn to look at Lando, who appears sad. "Are you still going to share the bed with me at least?" he asks softly, shrugging.

"Why wouldn't I?" I tilt my head, and he bites his lip. "You've been ignoring me the whole time, and you're definitely angry. I mean, you didn't even want to sit next to me on the plane," he says, and I roll my eyes. Is he serious?

"Yeah, because Coco is with you, she's with you every minute of the day, Lando!" I say, frustration evident in my voice. He furrows his brows, crossing his arms over his chest. "Baby, she's my PR manager. She's meant to be with me," he says, but I just grab my suitcase and wheel it to the room. He follows.

"Look, I'm sorry if you're upset with that, but I can't help it!" he says, frustration evident in his voice. If only he knew, I still believe she only wants to get with him. His old PR manager never invaded his privacy twenty-four seven, so why is Coco doing it? It doesn't make sense.

"I don't want to deal with this, Lando. Please just leave me alone for a bit," I say, grabbing my laptop and notebook from my bag. I open the door to the balcony, closing it behind me, and give one last glance to Lando, who stands still, looking at me.

Sitting down, I open my laptop and begin to write.

I didn't even notice the time until I glanced at the corner of my laptop, I've been writing for five whole hours.

As I close the laptop, the sliding door opens, and out comes Lando. He's holding a box, two drinks, and a blanket.

"Dinner," he says, shaking the box around before placing it on the table.

I gaze at the box for a moment, contemplating, before meeting his eyes again, still silent.

"Alright then, I guess I'll just head back inside..." he says softly, his shoulders slumping slightly as he begins to turn away. But I reach out and gently touch his arm, halting his movement.

"Wait." I start. "Stay."I murmur softly, and he turns to me, a smile playing at his lips.

He settles beside me, draping the blanket he brought over both of us.

As the sun dips below the horizon, I lean my body against his, resting my head on his shoulder. Lando opens the box to reveal pizza, and I can't help but smile. I reach over, grabbing a slice and savoring each bite as we enjoy the peaceful moment together.

Lando's voice breaks the silence, his touch gentle as he strokes my arm. "So, I was wondering if I can take you out for dinner tomorrow night, to maybe talk things out," he says softly.

I glance up at him and nod. "Dinner sounds good, Norris," I say, leaning in to kiss his cheek. I can't hold onto my anger forever, but Coco is a different story.

If she dares interrupt our date... well, let's just say a crazy Leclerc isn't something you want to deal with.
